I bought a computer of these guys when they were 'Time' and personally i cannot fault them. I've had my computer for a good few years and it has been perfect and its still fast
I have heard a number of horror stories regarding their customer services but i've never had a problem so i cant comment on this, but its probably something to consider if your thinking of buying a computer from them.
And to the person who says they use cheap parts this is probably true in there bottom range of computers, but in all the computers i have seen from them (quite a few) they have all been good branded parts, also with most having Nvidia/ATI cards and not onboard graphics.0 -
RichTarrant wrote:Hello there. I always see these deals from Tiny for half price computers and the it says in the small print only 'first 100 computers only'. As they have quite a few stores and a web-site these get snapped up quickly (if they actually do the deal).
Do you know what day and time the new deals start so I can order one as soon as they are available.
Also, any suggestions for other web-sites to check out??
Take the spec of Tiny's 'Bargain' and shop around. You will find the same spec or better elsewhere and at a better price. Tiny does not have a good reputation for after sales. Worth looking on EBay - there are some great deals there.

I have not heard good stuff about Tiny, I would keep well away.0

Have a search around the net for the 'dell outlet'. They have random, but amazing offers on all the time. PCs with TFT monitors sell for £300 for example, with very decent spec some including DVD writer. Depends what you are after, but no matter what you think of dell, they do make very good PCs

They do when they work? My mate bought his daughter a pc for xmas.
He bought the 2400 one and tested it while she was at school and it didn’t boot up.
They sent him another one and that worked, I don’t like dell because I build my own and think they are cheap and nasty pcs. Just like tiny.I'm not poor i'm just skint0 -
I bought a Tiny PC in 2000.I paid 1000 quid for a system that was not readily up-gradeable,had sub-standard "free" software, had a crap Lexmark printer, went bust and when I try to contact them now does not support my system.
DO NOT BUY A TINY PC.
For those who don't do English...........Nicht regardez une Tiny PC.0 -
Tiny computers, which on the high street trades as 'The Computer Store' have closed every single one of their stores today, and are expected to remain closed at least for the rest of the week.
The reason, apparently, is that their bank is not letting them accept credit card payments instore.
They are still accepting online orders though, which is probably dealt with by a seperate bank/entity.
This, to me, sounds like trouble afoot, and coupled with their general reputation aswell, I would advise caution if you are considering a purchase - at least hold off for a week or so anyway.0 -

They've bankrupted themselves three times already and voided many many warranties.
There is no law stopping them from doing it again and starting as Tiny.co.uk or The Computer Domain or something along those lines.
Remember, they used to be tiny, then tiny.com (trading as computer world, then computer shop).0
