Idea for a TV meal.
Pack of value noodles, handful of frozen peas, handful of prawns. Cook as per pack instructions including the peas and prawns in the pan.
Voila! A very cheap alternative to a chinese takeaway.
My kids had this for tea last night!
BTW the value jelly makes a very good vodka jelly;)Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Great thread have enjoyed reading through it.
I love Tesco Value Tortilla Crisps big bag for 29p but watch out they are addictive and the TV strawberry yoghurt/moussy pots about 64p for 4 they are yummmmmy

The Tomato Ketchup is not up to much. It is far too runny. The worst of all the value ketchups I have ever had. I would give it 1/5.
Will have to try thr Tortillas. They sound good.Iva started Dec 2018.0 -

Thanks for a great post. I tried tv chocolate for the first time last night and although I was pretty down on it before I tried it I was pleasently surprised. Fair enough it wasn't as good as Galaxay, but for 23p it really was a bargain! Maybe I'll have to give other tv products a go now and stop being such a food snob

another vote for the TV jaffa cakes. the tv chocolate mouse isnt fab but for 3p its alright - prob be better with some dark chocolate grated over it. TV chocolate bars get the thumbs up from me too. id not buy the instant mash, just buy real spuds it cant work out much more can it?
Interesting read this thread - thanks for starting it

I like the Tesco Value pork luncheon meat.
It tastes exactly like German "Jagdwurst".0 -
