  • When you bribe all your friends to accept your Pigsback invitations in the off-chance of getting the 500 points for a referral;
    When you can't pass a discarded Tesco receipt without checking whether someone has claimed the clubcard points on it;
    When you get angry with the people in front of you at the supermarket spending a fortune on stuff you know they could get way cheaper if only they knew how;
    When you tell the people you're angry with where to go to save money (usually annoying the store manager as you do so!)
    Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

    :D When the girl in Dorothy Perkins tries to persuade you to sign up for the storecard by saying that she's got one and it's great and you tell her she should never ever use that evil thing, and if she wants some kind of card she should read Martin's piece about interest free CC deals and cash back deals and you write down this: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cards/ and your username on the back of the store card application leaflet thingie.

    Of course that could just be me...! :o:o:o

    Or when you cunningly buy things with mates- split the discount and pay it off (only in sales) wait until they offer you more discounts, go through quidco and gain even more for your money- but always pay off in full.:D When other folk comment on your nice stuff you automatically say - guess how much- ruins it a bit though, unless they are snobs then tell them the full price:cool:
    Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
    Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
