When you find yourself doing a tour of all the local branches of the Body Shop to get a free sample of a foundation you already know is the right colour from each, to save you spending £12 on a new tube. Little know fact-they have tiny pots, but you have to ask

When you pick up a new top in Asda for £9, take it all round the shop with you and then put it back and buy two bags of compost for £5 instead to grow your own food.

Reduced counter to establish the menu then
Smart Price items you need for 'staples' then
Your favourite cheap treats if you have any budget left

... and when you make the salesmen cry when you barter for good prices on behalf of work - it's just so addictive you don't stop at your own finances!

When you work out what you have saved on freebies by weight/volume etc so you can add the saving to your Christmas 2008 fund.

When you trawl for freebies suitable for presents.

When you plan your free time round making presents with whatever you have already bought. How many hats/scarves/jumpers can you take???
