When you find yourself doing a tour of all the local branches of the Body Shop and get a free sample of a foundation you already know is the right colour from each, to save you spending £12 on a new tube. Little know fact-they have tiny pots, but you have to ask
Don't be embaressed, be proud! Top tip!
I have an online freebie offer foundation sample - just need to find a completely free social event to match. lol:rotfl:Cheap and cheerful. Preferably free. :T LBM - more a gradual rude awakening.

When every time you spot a bit of non-everyday cleaning needing doing you think "I wonder if (insert as appropriate white vinegar/borax/soda crystals/etc will deal with that).
This week:
- found some white mould on clothes. Threw them in a normal wash (ie soap nuts and 50C) and then decided I'd try for killing the mould spores with tea tree essential oil (so threw a cup of water with few drops of tea tree in the drum and did an extra rinse). They seem fine so far.
- found some white mould on window seal just now and wiped it off with white vinegar. Seems to be okay now.0 -
I managed to clean a plastic shower curtain the other day with Virgin Vie salt scrub -used to be a rep and this was a leftover sample that I knew I would never use as personally found it too oily for my skin. Also then decided to try it on the limescale round the taps - and it worked!!

When you turn into a nipper-nipping bits off plants in other folks gardens, and getting your own for free, or in garden centres-ooh the shame of it. but i do have some nice plants.
learned that one from my gran.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0
