Also OFCOM told me there was no new rule, nor any rule at all, about new phones, which were sold cheap because they were locked to a network, so people would use that network,having to be unlocked.

OFCOM told me that Nokia would be able to unlock their phones, but there is no number on the Nokia site, that was either working, or able to discuss unlocking phones.

Hopefullyuseful1 has already posted...

Pay As You Talk Vodafone handsets are still network locked, and a charge of £19.99 including VAT still applies to get them unlocked, unless the handset is more than 12 months old.
