All Phones Are Now Free to UNLOCK!!!

I phoned vodafone last week and asked them for my un-lock code. They told me it would cost me £20. Or if I waited a few weeks when I would have had the phone for a year I could then have it done for free.

Lol phone them back and tell them to look on the telecom page on the system. Where it tells you not to charge anyone asking for an unlock code.

Does anyone know if 3 will unlock the phone?

i just tried this and after a long wait on hold they agreed they would remove the lock on the phone and it will take 72 hours to be processed.

no charge

contact is 8 months old..

Are T-Mobile phones free to be unlocked?

I have a N73 locked on T-Mobile, and have no idear how to unlock it.

Any advice? thx.

any ideas if orange also do for free, i've got a couple of old orange phones which could be used for spares on other networks

just been on to vodafone and have been told cause i have only had the phone since October it will cost £20 to unlock my motorola v3

Vodafone will unlock free after a year. T-Mobile won't. All contract phones through cpw except T-Mobile are already unlocked.
