I've just purchased a Maggie Sottero dress on ebay, don't think it's a recent design, but it only cost £91 incl postage!!

You can pick up bargains, just be sure that you ask loads of questions... has it been cleaned, are any beads missing, any stains that didn't come out when cleaned etc.

I can't wait to wear it (only a week to go!!!!!!!!!!!)

On a related note, has anyone heard of a Romantica design called Yvonne? Someone is selling it on eBay, and it looks lovely, but I can't find any mention of it anywhere online, and I'm a little suspicious. Maybe it's just really old.

No, I didn't think of that! I might just do that.

I've asked if she's got pics of it on a person though, becuase the pics are of the dress hanging and I want to see how it looks on.

I'm glad that people have been very pleased with their dresses from ebay. I've just ordered a gorgeous looking dress from a seller in China for around £70. After I'd done it I wondered if I was being stupid and how the dress would look and whether it would look 'cheap'.
It's such a reassurance to know that people have bought from chinese sellers and been pleased with your purchases.

She says she got married in November, "so not very old". Yet she can't supply pics of it on a person, and she says it wasn't from a catalogue or online.

Either she's got the name wrong, or she's telling porkies...
