Right, I have now ordered my wedding dress from Landy. I was originally having http://www.alfredangelounitedkingdom.com/Collections/ProductDisplay.aspx?style=1136 but then saw http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?line=m&pageSize=8&style=A3157 posted by K8te (i think) and this was more what I wanted for the front but never saw in a shop to try on!

I tried both dresses on again to make a decision, and couldn't choose. So, I am having the front of the Maggie dress (I prefer it as more fitted on the hips) and the back of the AA (prefer the detail on the back of this one), which Landy is happy to do.

Also getting 2 bridesmaids dresses and wraps, the underskirt for my dress, and 7 ties for the men in matching colour, all for £256 inc postage and should arrive mid May apparently.

Congrats Honeypop,
Now you have the agonising wait like me and k8te, I emailed landy today and asked when they would be dispatching mine but have no reply yet, can't wait. Coincidentally I have gone the AA 1136, I tried a few on and loved this one on me, it suited my body shape.

Got tracking number also, so excited, 3-4 days, so next Tuesday/Weds, bloody typical i have offered to do overtime on those days, oh well, it's on it's way :j :j :j :j

Ohhhh can't wait - don't forget to take some pics!
Mine took 7 days from despatch so don't get too uptight if it takes a couple of days extra as it will have to come through customs.

wow, girls, thanks so much for inspiring me. I have looked at buying a dress from abroad but like most of you I was so sceptical. I love the adelaide dress its amazing, just wondered if I could also see your pics? I was starting to worry about getting my dress in time, as I have not yet gone dress shopping, but I think this is definately the way forward. Just a quick question, can you get your dress and bridesmaid dresses from the same person? sorry if i'm being stupid here.... very very new to this xxx
