Littlel yes wedding get a bit close, felt strange yesterday to be able to say " we are getting next Month", instead of "May"!!, not stressing at all really, i think it has helped that we are having a low key, low budget wedding, at the end of the day, we just want to get married. And i want my dress!!!

Paddingtondoo, been meaning to ask, did Landy email you to tell you she had posted the dress? And give a tracking number? Just want to know if i am wasting my day by keep checking my email account!!

I didn't get a tracking number although I did email her just before it was due to ask when i should get it but mine was due just after Chinese New Year and during all the awful weather they had.

It just arrived by parcelforce one morning out of the blue a couple of days before it's due date. It took a week to get here from China.

Maybe you are wasting your time checking your email but if you are worried drop her a line to find out what's happening with it.

Thanks paddingtondoo, i think i will leave it a bit longer before i contact her then, maybe 10 days before it is meant to come. I have found that alot of the things i have ordered from China has come through quite quickly also, not sure if i will be able to stop my habit of checking my email and ebay account though!!

littlel yes i am so excited now, knowing it is nearly finished, and will soon be here :D i am just so impatient really :o , i ordered the dress on the 7th of March, and she started it the next day, the original delivery date was before the 20th of April, so it's only a couple of days earlier, Isn't yours due at the end of April? So really only a week or so behind mine, i would ask, no harm in it.

I find this website today, it has to be her, doesn't it????

When materials alone cost £100+ for a big dress and then the time (even at minimum wage it's still more than £50!), yet there are these sellers on ebay that can produce gowns in a factory with hundreds of workers (normally in China) who work for less than $1 a day, and are they bothered about the quality of the work produced? (probably not). So what's left to say about the quality? BUY BRITISH!!!!!!!

    Totally agree! :T

Love the way everyone has totally ignored this comment though!

I know i did read the post, and if i could afford to buy British i would of, i would of loved to had paid for my dress to be made here, to be able to see it through all the stages, or knowing i could walk into any bridal shop and pay for whatever i wanted, but i couldn't :o , so really this was my only option on our such small budget, for the dress that i loved

I didn't ignore it. I have my dress so won't be making a decision about it.

How many of the big dress manufacturers have their products made in China though? Why not buy direct rather than pay over the odds for a similar item?

The money I have saved on my dress will be going to buy British not for my wedding but towards a new roof on our house which I hope will benefit us for a lot longer than a dress for just one day!

    Hi K&te ,
Thanks for that, I Ordered around a week after you, Like you though, I am so impatient and just can't wait to see it, I'm sure it will be lovely but am really nervous as we have nothing left in our budget, especially not to pay £800 for a dress.

Paddingtondoo, Absolutly agree with you there, I want my wedding day to be one to remember but I don't want to be paying it off for years to come and my family come first rather than paying over the odds for things that will only get one days use, everyone has to take care of themselves at the end of the day, like you I would have loved to have bought in this country where I could try it on before buying but this is not an option for me.
