I always pick up any money I see on the ground, if I don't someone else will.:jLike good food and drink?
Try Hotel Chocolat and Baileys.

I'll pick up 50p or more - anything less then I get the grandchildren to do it
. If I'm risking putting my back out - it has to be worth my while!

I'm always being told I've got eyes like a 'sh!thouse rat' cos i'm always picking up money, especially at night.
I used to work for the council as an apprentice brickie and on a cold november type dark morning in a workers cabin I could tell what type (value) of coin had been dropped and where it had been dropped. Never got one wrong but then I never got the money either...
Like the saying also

Hopefully that day will not come for you. It has for me so I take any penny as a blessing.0 -

Strangely enough I've also noticed that the amount of loose change to be found drops in school holidays ......
Actually if you go to the local shops where the school kids buy their lunch about 10 to 15 minutes after they return to school you can find at least a couple of quid in copper...... we have 8 comp schools in my town...... not that i'd own up to anything of course,;) lol.0 -

They get so excited when they find money and they put it in their piggy banks when they get home. If I found a large amount of money I would take it to the police (honest!). After 30 days if no-one claims it they let you keep it :j . Or so I'm led to believe...
what size house needs that size of deposit?? purple vamp...0 -
I always used to joke with my friends at school that I wouldn't go down for less than 20p, but I think I'm getting cheaper as I get older.... It still has to be silver though - unless I dropped it myself in which case it's mine and I want it back.0

Thats an interesting poll.
Value wise I would have chosen 5p but they are so fiddly I'd probably be there all day. So I voted 10p.
I've seen a 20p a couple of times this week at DDs school but its pushed in the mud so I haven't bothered.[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]

If it was heads up, I would put the coin in a charity box, if it was heads down, it would go into my bank to be opened up before Christmas.Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can't get more time0
