IT'S A YES!
Phew! He came home vvv early (his Dad sent him home) and I had just got back from massage manicure and hair do. The plan was to be all dolled up by the time he got back. I asked if wanted a 1/2 hr lie down (so I could get ready) but he just sat there reading his new blooming Screwfix catalogue.
In the end I bobbed on one knee, said 'you're not taking the hint to go upstairs, so I'll do this dressed as I am' and did it, handed the chocs, gave him his Haribo ring (which he promptly ate off his finger) and then gave him my original ring all refurbed and lovely to give back to me, he thought I'd lost it and welled up big style, awwwwwwwww
So I told him the cab and restaurant were booked, chucked him in the shower, got changed, necked the bottle of champagne to myself and got the cab to the restaurant.
The rest of the family had sneakily hidden all their cars so he didnt spot them, and I led to a seating area round the corner where a huge round of appaulse cheering etc and he nearly fell over in shock!
Anyhoo lots more champagne, a decent meal and pressies and cards later we came home at 00:00 and um 'sealed the deal'
Most of yesterday I was still drunked tho
