  • should be ok....isn't it a year AFTER its been opened?

I bought some in the SUmmer sale and i also wondered how long it could be used for. The sa said it is a year after it is opened and then after that it still works but at a lower factor
  • It's the small Boots in the Saddler's Centre, Walsall (near Argos).

Well I looked at the clearance stand and there was a few interesting bits and pieces - not that exciting really but as I looked round the store OMG I almost peed my pants :D

A LOT of the stock has normal SELs but the normal prices are crossed through and the new prices are really silly, the reduced lines are discounted 75%. They had tons of lines reduced - have to stroll round the store and look at the SELs but the heavily reduced ones are obvious!

Sanctuary stuff, toothpaste, hair stuff... allsorts. The place is like one massive clearance - grabbit while you can!!!
I spent £13.45 and my stuff was worth almost £54 :j

I asked the SA why everything was so cheap, she said the store is closing for a re-fit and all the lines they won't be stocking when they re-open are being sold off.

Also because the reduced stuff isn't clearance stickered ( till has been programmed to charge these prices) the offers still kick in eg I bought 3 colgate sensitive toothpastes 60p each and they were on 3 for 2 so I got 3 for £1.20.
  • I was wondering about this too. I get a bit grumpy having to buy new each year for the kids to take to nursery as well as the stuff we have for our holidays. I would like some more info on how long you can safely use it for each factor. If anyone has any links, please post them.

For instance, is factor 50 from last year still good enough to use in this country for kids playing out etc and how much per year does it deteriorate?

Can anyone confirm that the ingredient...

    tocopherol

is in the scar serum, it should be near the bottom.

    Thank you.
No. I will find the post I put up with the info and bump it.

  • Is it still ok to list unwanted vouchers on this thread - I've got a pile of them I won't be using.

I just wanted to thank whoever posted that you could buy a £10 mob top-up vchr and get the £5 pink vchr - plus of course the 40 points. /quote]

Remember to check for a total spend voucher too! I used a 75 pts wys £10 from my daughter's AC when I bought mine and got 115 points, a pink £5 voucher and O2 text me to say that I get 10% extra on my top ups.

    Proper result I feel!!

I found all the info on the scar serum versus the p & p serum from the old post and list the ingredients of both for you to judge for yourself. The main difference is the lack of tocopherol in the scar serum, listed as ingredient no 24 on the p & p serum(dont know if the list of ingredients is in % terms, if it is then its way down the list!)

Only 1 from THE P & P is not in scar serum-tocopherol. There are some other ingredients in the scar serum lower down the list(I cant find the box right now to post them) but the top ones are identical!!!!!
It says on the box"By simply massaging it in every day for three months, we've found it noticeably softens, smoothes and conditions skin. So, scars appear lighter and more even in tone and the profile of the skin appears more even"
It also says to use it on blemishs or stretchmarks.
The box contains 50mls and is on special at £3.99 but you can get an ACM for 100 points!
I have not used p & p or the serum on my skin yet(still trying out Q10 stuff!) but they smell and "feel the same" to me.
Hope that helps some of you. There is a pic earlier of the box. I will try and find it.
    K.
