    Hi All

Just received the 1/2 price mothers day gifts email and just thought I would give you my opinion on one of the products in case you were thinking about buying it. It is the BaByliss BeLiss hairdryer. My OH bought me one for my birthday as I thought it may save time srraightening my hair. Anyway...the first time I used it my hair looked awful!! it went so dry and frizzy at the ends and I was gutted because I didn't think I would be able to take it back as I had used it so I persevered. but after another couple of attempts with it I started smelling burning and the ends of my hair were so bad that I had to stop using it and get a hair cut! I didn't buy it from Boots, I got it from Tesco and they were only too willing to give me a refund when I told them about the burning smell.

Just thought I would try and save you the hassle if you were thinking about getting one!! After taking it back, I got the Tresemme one from Boots as a replacement and love it! The ionic feature really makes your hair much shner and less frizzy than an ordinary one!

    HTH :)

I've seen it instore - with the expert stuff. It's a small white box - I know that doesn't help much as all the expert stuff comes in white boxes! If a picture doesn't turn up, I'll get the camera out when I get home for you.

I bought some for DS1 as he has stretch marks on his shoulders/bicep area. He used to use quite strong steroid creams for his eczema (which he has had since birth) and when he started to going to the gym and bulking up, his skin stretched quite badly. He's tried Bio Oil with no noticeable improvement.

I was delighted to read the recommendation for it a little while ago in this thread.

Does this scar cream help on old scars that have faded to white? Will it get ride of the white scar?

will do full list of vouchers later (12 day old baby asleep in my arms atm), 1 that looks good is a free 17 lip glaze when you buy any other 17 product. Also says eleswhere in mag that 17 is on 3 for 2 till end of march, so may be able to combine and get 3 17 things for 1?

Congratulations on your little baby:A .

I think most scar treatments just work on red scars, but might be worth a go.
People seem to think it improves your skin.

I have one bottle intending to use it on my operation scar on my foot.I had better get a seperate one for my face:eek:

Wow, this looks like a good offer. Thanks for letting us know in advance:D I guess we'll spend the next month stocking up on 17 products. Wouldn't it be great if boots brought out a 5.00 17 voucher (as opposed to No7)*note to self*...dream on:rotfl:
