Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 18 - Post your finds here

I bought it from instore but had to ask for it because couldn't find it on the shelf as they had not got round to putting out yet but I think it would go near the Bio-Oil which is usually near the body creams/lotions and potions. I am also unable to find it online so don't think it is available on dot com yet. I have a feeling it hasn't been out that long.

I've seen it instore - with the expert stuff. It's a small white box - I know that doesn't help much as all the expert stuff comes in white boxes! If a picture doesn't turn up, I'll get the camera out when I get home for you.
I bought some for DS1 as he has stretch marks on his shoulders/bicep area. He used to use quite strong steroid creams for his eczema (which he has had since birth) and when he started to going to the gym and bulking up, his skin stretched quite badly. He's tried Bio Oil with no noticeable improvement.
I was delighted to read the recommendation for it a little while ago in this thread.0 -
Do Boots sell sim cards preferably Orange NOT to be confused with top up as I know they do this already, thanks.0

Eeek....thanks for that, I got a few bits and pieces.
Update on my local branches ...Musselburgh still has three of the Steamy Showers S&G sets on for £5 each, plus a useful reductions shelf with several types of Soltan (remember Soltan is on BOGOF), some odds and ends of No7 and John Frieda Luminous Colour Hair Glaze, in Blonde only. (As I bought the last three brunette ones.) This last is on 342 so instead of £2 each you get three for £4.
Never used this last before but assume it's a very lightweight hair colourant? Will give it a go at that price anyway...my locks could do with some help.
Oh drat!
I had a hospital appointment at Royal Infirmary this morning (Dr thinks my foot is healing after Operation, still getting nerve pain from scar though!)
I decided to do a Boots run after I left hospital.
First stop Cameron Toll (no P+P sets)
Got Mens No7 Balm
No7 Pre holiday body lotion (no Illum powders and wanted GWP)
Free Gwp
Used Pink £5 voucher
and got another one back
2nd stop Fort Kinnaird (no P+P sets)
No7 hand saviour
Illum powder
Gwp
2 bodyform for £2 (it even worked on the £1.49 and £1.59 varieties not marked as 2 4 £2)
Hair brush £3
Q10 eye cream
Used £5 pink voucher
Free illum voucher
100pts on £15 spend from ACM
And got another voucher!
Then took a trip to Haddington in search of S&G sets after reading your post yesterday ................and got one:j :j :j for £7.50...........................now you tell us they are £5 in Musselburgh!!!
Still pleased with it though, not sure what to do with the blindfold!
They had quite a few left and also Accessorize Hat boxes but I didn't think they were as good value as the S&G.
Accessorize hat boxes are still full price at Fort Kinnaird
No P+P sets either!
The SA at Fort Kinnaird was telling me all about them but there were none left on the shelf she directed me too!
I have to agree that the staff are nicest at Fort Kinnaird, never have any problems getting things through the tills and the staff are so friendly.
The lady in Haddington was lovely too!
PS must try the Expert Scar Serum on my scar, hopefully it'll fade for my holidays!:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -

Hi Discount Diva!
It was me that said I thought it was very similar to P&P a few weeks back. I too have been using it twice a day and have found it just as good if not better than the P&P. I am glad you have too as I was beginning to think I may have imagined it!! However, someone did list the ingredients for them both and they were identical other than a couple of extras in the scar serum which can't be a bad thing if you're getting more things in the bottle and more of it and for less money :j
Would love to know anyone elses thoughts on this
I'm recommending this to my son who has some acne scarring though will check with the doctor first as he still uses a retinoid cream at night.
Nice find, I'm definitely going to stock up on this while it's on offer at £3.99 plus 100 points from ACM.
PS Anyone looking for this, it was with the Expert range but not with the bodycare items and Bio-oil, two stands for the Expert range in my local store. SEL said Scar reduction Cream, but it does say serum on the box, also SEL shows price at £5.99 but currently going through at £3.99.
Bargain :j0 -
I don't know but they are a bargain!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I got some Earthy bagder ones in store and have put them away as pressies.
I wouldn't pay full price but at £3 they are good value if you like that sort of thing!
i think i will skip these...:AIF I HAVE HELPED YOU CLICK THE:heart2:THANKS:heart2:BUTTON:heart2: I LOVE BOOTS :heart2:BOOTS ACM £298.95(bought camcorder with 21999 points)QUIDCO £53.97(£494.24 PAID)PIGSBACK £6.00 (£60.00 Vouchers redeemed)TESCO POINTS 5899 Saving for Holiday in 2009...:A BABY DUE IN JUNE 2008:A:happyloveLILACLILY0 -

I did so tell you all about the £5 sets of S&G in Musselburgh. I posted about it last Friday when I bought two, so there....:pWhat I want though is one of these pink hatboxes reduced to £3, like someone else here found.
My daughter (aged six) pinched the blindfold for her dressing up box, btw. Strange child. I think she wants me to cut eyeholes in it so she can be some sort of pink superhero.Val.0
