I have had literally dozens of them this month, having got a lot for people on here, as well as myself. [Snipped]
It says on the vouchers that only one per transaction, but there is nowhere on the voucher that says you can't do more than one transaction.

I've just watched the whole rigmarole re-enacted with my oh and it's so long winded Dollardog, that I wouldn't know where to start. BUT, I think he had a valid argument. He was refused the use of a voucher for the highlighter, because he didn't have an advantage card - and Sod's Law - it had arrived when we were out. His argument was: where does it say on those vouchers that anyone has to have an advantage card? I can't find one

As for the SA who told the person that people were taking the ****, I would certainy have got his name from his badge and reported him not only to his manager, but also to customer services.

So would I. There was something else I needed to ask, because I think you've already mentioned something about it, but I'll PM it for now if that's ok?

Thanks for the reply btw, it was a shame to snip such a great answer :) x

Edited: And I ended up buying one of the bloody magazines LOL

    Oh drat!

Then took a trip to Haddington in search of S&G sets after reading your post yesterday ................and got one:j :j :j for £7.50...........................now you tell us they are £5 in Musselburgh!!!

Still pleased with it though, not sure what to do with the blindfold!

They had quite a few left and also Accessorize Hat boxes but I didn't think they were as good value as the S&G.
Accessorize hat boxes are still full price at Fort Kinnaird:confused:

    No P+P sets either!

The SA at Fort Kinnaird was telling me all about them but there were none left on the shelf she directed me too!

I have to agree that the staff are nicest at Fort Kinnaird, never have any problems getting things through the tills and the staff are so friendly.

The lady in Haddington was lovely too!

Someone bought the last P+P set just after lunch time when I was in. Had to go and get cpg the S&G set.

MIne wasn't loads of points but I left my card in the machine (yes I know) but I did have a screaming 2 year old to tend with ( doesn't quite have Mummys obsession for shopping yet!!) and some "Kind" soul who found my card used 1/2 my points ( only about a tenners worth but heh points are points !!) and was going to treat myself to the illuminated mirror !! so I would welcome some sort of pin number or extra security.

It wasn't me officer - honest ;) Seriously, sorry to hear about your ac :( I hope their fingers drop off. I don't know how some of you young Mums cope tbh - I wouldn't have been able to :o

Let's hope that Boots sort something out eh? Mine's got quite a bit on it now, so I'd hate it if someone got their thieving hands on it, and I'll be loading any points onto oh's card - he finally got one! :)

    Good luck x

this is such a great and addictive thread. I have recently discovered this thread and have been following it for the last few weeks. Congratulations to all of you who have been successful in using the £5 pink voucher and the illum voucher and getting the GWP as well. I tried doing it today in the leicester branch and was successful too. This has given me the confidence to try my luck again tomorrow.(being greedy now)

I have just been reading the above re: not having advantage card and using illum voucher ~ has anyone else had any experience of this?
I am waiting for my replacement and DaisyFlower (:D ) is kindly sending me a couple of illum vouchers as I couldn't get any H&B mags myself ( appears to be a shortage by me!!) does this mean that I will encounter a problem?

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

I don't see how they can force this as a rule for several reasons:
Mag is FREE if you have an AC
Mag is £1 if you don't

Who is to say you never paid a £1 for the mag purely to get the voucher. This way you've broken no terms or condidtions of the voucher.

IF I was EVER to encounter this regardless of any GWP/glitch I'd be at the heels of the manager/HO like lightening....total injustice if you ask me.

just got in my .com parcel.

will do full list of vouchers later (12 day old baby asleep in my arms atm), 1 that looks good is a free 17 lip glaze when you buy any other 17 product. Also says eleswhere in mag that 17 is on 3 for 2 till end of march, so may be able to combine and get 3 17 things for 1?
Thanks for this - I'm looking forward to seeing the new mag.
    And
CONGRATULATIONS:T on your baby girl, I'm really impressed that you're back to Bootsing already!

    Enjoy!
