I managed to get the GWP with the free powder and a dream lash mascara. I used a £5 off voucher and got 100points for the mascara. Whole lot cost me a fiverish.0

I don't see how they can force this as a rule for several reasons:
Mag is FREE if you have an AC
Mag is £1 if you don't
Who is to say you never paid a £1 for the mag purely to get the voucher. This way you've broken no terms or condidtions of the voucher.
IF I was EVER to encounter this regardless of any GWP/glitch I'd be at the heels of the manager/HO like lightening....total injustice if you ask me.
It doesn't make sense does it?I was sorely tempted to fire off a mail to CS, but - Sod's Law again - I've mailed them over something unrelated this week, and I don't want to appear to be a serial complainer
It would have been easy for me to lose my temper, but I refused to let a slip of a girl spoil what had otherwise been a good day out. But I'm tempted ....Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -

His argument was: where does it say on those vouchers that anyone has to have an advantage card?
I can't find one

I have just been reading the above re: not having advantage card and using illum voucher ~ has anyone else had any experience of this?I am waiting for my replacement and DaisyFlower (:D ) is kindly sending me a couple of illum vouchers as I couldn't get any H&B mags myself ( appears to be a shortage by me!!) does this mean that I will encounter a problem?:A0 -

Young SA said it wouldn't but I asked her to try it for me "as it worked yesterday"0 -
hi guys, just got a little question for your wise brains. Am in the unfortunate position of having my mum's birthday AND mothers day in the same weekend and she is in need of some protect and perfect. I have a £5 off voucher but was wondering what the pc voucher was and if it could only be used online? also is there any particular way of getting a good deal on no7 things for her? I'm happy to buy more than just the cream if I can get a good deal, she's worth it:D0

I think this should be put in bold hogshead, because there may be people out there, without advantage cards, who haven't taken advantage of this loophole. And believe me, I'm sure that Boots are rubbing their hands because of it. They must be praying at the altar of Martin Lewis after he published it in his mailshot lol.
What I can't get over, and I'm just as guilty myself of this lol, is the ways and means people go to get this highlighter. We act like we're on some sort of SAS mission - to avoid any No 7 SA's!! It's a loophole, and one that has probably helped Boots' profits no end!
It's a legal loophole people, if it hadn't have been, I'm certain Martin definitely wouldn't have sent the tip out to millions of people, and worse still (according to my local No7 SA), advertised it on the telly! Now go out and get them lol.
So there you go, my rant, and tip for the dayx

Not in your branch but I got the GWP twice today using a pink £5 voucher.
I think it is the points vouchers that are causing problems with the GWP:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -

I totally agree, it says nothing on the vouchers to say that you need to use your Advantage card to take advantage of the offers. You either paid to get the mag, or you have a card to get it free.0 -
Hi
just done an online order and took advantage of 1500 points with selected fragrances and skincare. Will they send me £5 pink voucher or is just an in store thing?:EasterBun <--- "Live and let Live"0
