If you've only been shopping in Boots since the highlighter promotion, then you don't know anything about the Time Delay fiasco. Please feel free to check back to early 2006, where you'll find all the information.
Link to # of Boots Thread, SVP? I LOVE reading about this stuff, even though I'll probably be kicking myself for missing it.Val.0 -
At long last I think I've found a glitch to give a little back to the thread!
I've just placed an order online, I found that if you purchase 4 of this cotton wool roll, normally at £3.15 each, HERE but is currently included in the 2 for £2! so a great buy anyway, the checkout gives the extra 200 points for a £10 spend on baby products, yet you only really spend £4!
Bargain!
HTHS!
(I bought 8.... I couldn't resist!:o)
I can't find any 2 for £2 offers?Here come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!0 -
I am so behind on the posts ... I just cannot keep up with you all :rotfl:
I am such a newbie to all of this Bootsing lark but I have so enjoyed the last few weeks with getting some GWP, the Illuminating powers and also some much needed pampering products for myself.
I have managed to get 5 GWP and 5 Illuminating powders .... one of each colour for me and the others going to one of my sister's, a friend and a fellow MSR.
The GWP's are being given as Mothers Day gifts for my sisters and Mum who all help me care for my son (:A ) who has learning disabilities.
From this I have bought myself the Protect and Perfet Serum, the Sauna Mask x2, Hand Saviour and Firming Mask.
I rarely buy myself anything as I am either too tired from my own illness, looking after my boy or just plain cannot be bothered to venture far to shop. This thread has got me out to my local Boots, have so many smiles and laughs at your posts and spend some much needed time/money on ME!! :j
Thank You, Thank You ALL :A
I have also pretty much sorted Birthdays for the next 6 months from the sale bargains that I had also. Husband is getting picture frames and photo albums which are on BOGOF for his Birthday next week (photography is his hobby)
I now have 5 of the 250 points vouchers from the pink boxes .... any ideas of how to use them? I also have 5 of the £5 No7 pink vouchers to use up. Have given some away but really wanting to stock up on maybe skincare for me. Any thoughts/ideas so appreciated
Well Ladies, sorry for my long post and not much to offer any of you re: a nice glitch but I do thank you from the bottom of my toes :j

Probably get shot down now, but we are all entitled to an opinion. I thought it was funny last night reading about all the highlighters but it doesnt seem like that now.
But to get the highlighter free they have to spend money so it is not like they are stealing.
The point is the freebies and £5 voucher make people spend more money.
I spent a bit in January because of the spend £5 and get a till spit for £5 off certain brands. But I was buying presents for the year and just split my transaction. And it allowed me to get items that I would need during the rest of the year.
I have none of the £5 no 7 vouchers because I have not spent £10 in one transaction but over a couple of transactions because they have been clearance items.
Boots do know what they are they doing. If the till allows it then I can't see a problem.
As long as people are not stealing don't see the problem.
Yours

Yay, I had a good shop today! :j
Have wanted the No7 illuminated makeup mirror for ages, but missed out last time it was on 1/2 price (and wouldn't buy it at full price knowing it would be 1/2 price again!).
So I got the illuminated mirror, picked up a highlighter and GWP.
The highlighter voucher wouldn't go through, the nice SA thought it might be because of the GWP so voided that off (but still gave it to me!), but it wasn't that. I pointed out that it did say with ANY No7 purchase on it, and there was no problem in putting it through manually.
Then I paid with my points!
So I got the mirror, highlighter and GWP all for 1999 points0 -

Loads of hugs ... Shal. xxwhat a lovely post!
Why not use the points and the no7 vouchers on skincare for yourself and then treat yourself to something you wouldn't normally buy with the points gained-e.g foot spa or perfume. You already have protect and perfect and some of the masks-If you really like p&p get a spare bottle with one of the n07 £5& 250 points vouchers-it works out at a great price. I use all no7 skincare and I am very happy with it so far-the moisturisers are nice & the no7 eyemakeup remover and toner are lovely too or for a quick routine no7 wipes? Are you looking for night&day moisturisers or cleansing items from another range because you could possibly get your 250 points by buying low spend items from no7 -eyshadow brush, sharpener, nail polish etc and then using the points gained on whatever brand your considering?hthLove can tame the wildest0 -

I would suggest getting cleanser, toner etc one at a time. Use the 250 points voucher and the £5 pink voucher at the same time on each transaction. Some of the cleansers/toners are around £6.50 or £7, so there won't be much "real money" left to pay.0 -
As far as I know, NOW when you return stuff to Boots WITHOUT a receipt, you can ONLY exchange it for something else of the same value or dearer and pay the difference. You no longer get money back w/o a receipt, and they no longer give you a GiftCard either. This is MY personal experience of last week, when returning an unwanted gift and chatting to the SA. I had fun choosing a replacement though

The 250 point vouchers from the GWP boxes only work on skincare.

Thanks for pointing that out-I forgot it was just skincare .Yes you are right-wipes, cleanser, toner , eyemakeup are all very affordable with the vouchers and the points give you more than what you spend back!:)Love can tame the wildest0
