I don't log in for a few days and the amount I had to catch up on.

I've got 15 powders to add to the list - not all have 'survived' as my little girl loves chewing the round box - she's teething. :rotfl:

Haven't been to Boots since last Tuesday and am itching to go and find some more bargains.

Can't nip in tomorrow as I'm meeting an old university friend, so it'll have to be Tuesday.

Can I confirm: Could I buy a Highlighter and No.7 face powder (£10.50) and use £5 pink voucher, 250 points off No7 voucher and get a GWP ?
And also: When does GWP finish ?

I bought the mirror today and an item from the Mens No7 range got another gwp. I used the £5 voucher and it worked although I assumed it worked cos of skincare product.
    SNIP

I was wondering vaguely, if because the mirror is half price, when purchasing another item with it, would let the till see the transaction as over £40 spent on No7 and SA (and till) permitting, could result in TWO GWP?!?

(just a mind wandering moment, ISTR people getting this with a previous GWP)

Has anyone tried the boots hair straightening system? It costs £14.99 and is a third off at the moment?
    K.

It thought it was really good. I heard that everyone had said it dryed their hair out so i made sure my was is really good condition before i used it and then used frizz ease intensive conditioner everyday for about a week afterwards.

My hair was really dry for about a week so don't use it just before anything important but once the moisture was retored to my hair it was really nice and soft and straight. And it saved so much time in the morning. Quick blow dry and my hair was perfect.

I have really thick dyed brown hair, althought thinking about it when i used it in the summer (when i'm highlighted blonde) my hair was dryer and frizzier for longer..

I may be wrong but I think you can only get one GWP fpr each transaction and that if you wanted 2 you would have to split your shopping. I know that when you buy online they only send the one GWP no matter how much you spend over £20.

I need to get dressed and go out, not to Boots, sadly! Is the nail varnish the cheapest thing to use up a £5 off voucher as cheaply as poss? Not wanting any more ilum powders, or gwp etc.
    BYE B BACK LATER!

May be a bit late in posting but the cheapest thing you can get with your voucher is free! If you don't want to get makeup then you could use the voucher to 'buy' the Ruby & Millie i-brush or the no7 makeup sponges. Dollardog informed me of this deal and that's what I've been getting.

In the good old days, there was one combo purchase that could get you several GWP in one purchase. I can't remember exactly what the purchase was, but it was the silk jewellery roll (that was a nice GWP) - I didn't do it personally, but I do remember it on here.

  • At long last I think I've found a glitch to give a little back to the thread!

I've just placed an order online, I found that if you purchase 4 of this cotton wool roll, normally at £3.15 each, HERE but is currently included in the 2 for £2! so a great buy anyway, the checkout gives the extra 200 points for a £10 spend on baby products, yet you only really spend £4!

    Bargain!

    HTHS! :D

    (I bought 8.... I couldn't resist!:o)
