  • I'm sorry I just need to voice my opinion on this

As a new Bootser I often read on here that people feel like criminals obtaining the glitches and offers, I must admit I too feel the same. Comments are made about SA's acting as though the money we save is coming directly out of their pockets and we don't like the way we have been treated but after reading this post I am not surprised this is happening. Ok I tend to think Mr B knows what he is doing most of the time afterall I didn't shop in Boots until the Highlighter now I have spent loads so he has managed to get me and probably a lot more like me through the door. I now feel for the SA's, they must have loyalty to their employer and when people bantatly take stuff back just to make "at least £200" I'm not surprised all Bootsers are now tarred with the same brush

I'm all for a bargain and love glitches but taking the"free" items back for a refund is plain wrong. Whilst this is a money saving site, its about taking advantage of loopholes etc not blatant theft.

This thread is one of my favourites, it gives advice, reviews, makes me smile and has a good feel about it- things like this spoil it. Can we not stick to the offers and glitches and leave the theft aspect out of it?

Probably get shot down now, but we are all entitled to an opinion. I thought it was funny last night reading about all the highlighters but it doesnt seem like that now.

I need to get dressed and go out, not to Boots, sadly! Is the nail varnish the cheapest thing to use up a £5 off voucher as cheaply as poss? Not wanting any more ilum powders, or gwp etc.
    BYE B BACK LATER!

Has anyone tried the boots hair straightening system? It costs £14.99 and is a third off at the moment?

I've used this a couple of times but now I find using Remington Wet to Straight Straighteners instead of hair dryer gives me a better result than above and dryer and normal straighteners. HTH

Just scour the No7 stand & see what you like. take said item & give it a try. If till bleeps say Oooh it says £5 off any No7 & this says No7 on it! See if the SA is happy to over ride it as it's polite talk that may well win her/him over.
Think peeps have got the eyelash curlers which are dead cheap ( free )
  • As these expire next weekend, and the offers change wednesday, I'm hanging on to a couple to see if Mr Boots gives us an even better offer to take advantage of! (if not, then its nail varnish or wipes for me).

    Tactical couponing! ;)

p.s. Is it the half price sunglasses voucher next?

Any posts encouraging or boasting about illegal matters should be reported and removed as MSE is supposed to be about legally playing the big companies at their own game. Taking free items back for a refund is a criminal offence (obtaining money by deception). This site isn't about anything illegal, just about finding legitimate loopholes. That's the fun of it! :D

Left mine like straw - not one I'd recommend! (Although the JF Overnight Serum is working wonders!!)

To get the P&P gift set through with the £5 pink voucher you need to also 'buy' a high lights - that way you are not using the pink voucher against gift sets...but against a no. 7 item.

Put the P&P gift set through, then the high lights, then the GWP

Put the vouchers through in this order

Extra points from ACM (if you have one)
    £5 pink voucher
    £10.25 mag voucher

    Total to pay - £15:beer:

It has definitely worked for me everytime. I did originally also manage to put through the 250 points vouchers from the previous GWP...but Boots appear to have but a bleeping stop to that!

When I found a P+P set in Woking I got that and the GWP and used the pink £5 voucher and all went through fine for £15. Only thing it wouldn't accept was the 250 points voucher from one of the Christmas sets. I didn't get any other no 7 product at the time - all the highlighters had gone!
