  • Hi all
I have a love/hate thing with e-bay, have bids in on a pair of shoes and a pair of leather boots, want them soo much, but why-wouldn't be spending if it wasn't for e-bay!! Oh never mind.
I'm still not certain about my living room decoration, more alternatives to try out, thanks guys for your advice.

DD got her ballet shoes from dance school today and I have found them for £3 cheaper on line this evening, how typical:mad: is that, even the adult sizes were much cheaper so I've treated my self to a pair to wear as slippers, they are leather so should last longer than my average slippers:D

Hope you are all well this evening, I'm off to bed as I have a busy day catching up with my flying tomorrow.

Good progress so far 6days 3hrs smoke free and saved £45.26, thought DH would be joining me as he was saying he was ready to quit long before I did, but he hasn't, just have to wait til he's ready. Still having dizzy spells, can't wait til that goes as it's quite disabling.

Well I'm off this time peaceful dreams all round, night night

    Morning

That is not good progress that is fantastic progress you should be really proud of yourself, well done.

Two kids dispatched to football. Washing on the line. Going to hoover the kitchen floor - cause it's filthy again and then shower and bedlinen to go in the machine.

I am getting much better at not playing catchup and accepting what is not done in a week.

Plan to do an hour in the back garden and an hour in the front garden today.

  • Morning all.

Yetserday was DS's 8th b/day and we had family and friends over for most of the day eating cake and helping him celebrate.

House needs a bit of a tidy but as new list starts tomorrow I'm wait until then for proper cleaning.

    I am so unfit!
Decided with 40th birthday looming in July I wanted to be slimmer and fitter and so thought I would have a go at trying to fit a small jog around block, then gradually increasing to longer distances, into my day. Today was first day and I was huffing and puffing like mad by the time I was halfway round. Must keep at it though, doing a little is better than doing none at all!

Off to put on the WM, have a shower and do something useful.

    Have a good day.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

  • Tinsel youv'e got me thinking I should be trying to get fitter too, my lungs should be getting better all the time now I'm not filling them with smoke:o but I still feel so unfit and out of breath generally, you'll soon make progress:T

    Morning all,

Didnt manage to get online yesterday, met friends for coffee inthe morning and then DD2 had a party in town so had a girlie shop with DD1 then home tea, dvd and bed - its great when OH goes away I get my choice of DVD, dont have to talk when its on and dont get frowned at for going to bed early on a sat night.

Glad to see that the sun is shining today its definetly brought back my get up and go, kids beds are stripped and inthe machine at the mo, ours is stripped and ready to go on next and then its the dogs bedding as long as its stays sunny and windy I should get all that dried.

Off to et brekkie, then walk dog and then head over to collect hubbie from airport at lunch time, hoping to manage some gardening this afternoon.

Hope its nice where ever you are.

    Mooorning ladies

Its :coffee: time again in an attempt to try and wake myself up. Stupidly sat down last night to watch a film and fell asleep. OH was on the computer and woke me up at 2am to say we better go to bed, and he had to get up for work at 7 this morning  .

    Have so far managed
    to breakfast,
    unload/reload DW
    unload/reload TD
    unload reload WM
Scrubbed DD ski jacket with oxy before washing (disgustingly filthy)

This morning need to do both kids rooms and scrub mucky patches in spare room while continuing to load/reload machinery as need to go in to work this afternoon. Prob only need to be there a couple of hours but will get paid a min sessions of 4 hrs at double time so cant complain really.

That gives me 3 hours flying (in my dressing gown I think) before bath time.

    6 HHC's me thinks

    Have a good day and
    Catch ya later x

    YAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!

I got up to pee.. heard someone on my pc came down to find tiddles doing a system restore  She is a pest!!

My friend (500 miles away!) called earlier.. but I was in my nest.. I'll phone her back in a bit.

Have I mentioned how much my back hurts to you lot yet???

It was a coat hanger I tripped over.. I found it this morning.. at 4am.. when I almost did it again!

OMG @ that injury Eduardo suffered yesterday.. he'll be lucky to keep his foot let alone play football again.. what a nasty way to end your career.. :( .. I hope it isn't as terrible as it looked!!

I have everything to do today that I didn't do yesterday... .. including 8 binbags of stuff to GO.. should be fun!

I need hubby to drag the other dryer out of the middle room I can't cope with walking 20 feet to the TD and 20 feet back.. it is getting on my hooters.. so I'll clear a space and it can go in th ekitchen or the back room for now.

I'll come back and find my list in a bit.. right now I want a cuppa.. and some food.. all I have done for 3 days is eat and eat and eat.. it must be the weather!

Good morning flyers. Have decided to rearrange kitchen cupboards. Then decided to clean out large cupboard. You know the kind that you havent done for ages and find things you forgot you had or thought you lost. Found a pair of dumbells I thought had been given away.

So lots for the rubbish bin and stuff for the charity shop and a bag of stuff for DD. One more shelf to go then tackle small cupboards under bench.

Ive already done my bedding and tidied. Must be coming down with something I reckon. My thoughts were if I got it al done I can chill later and read.

Catch up with you all later.

Didn't do anything useful yesterday. I really must get down to writing out menu plans.

Took some stuff to the dump and found:-

an alarm clock radio for DH's side of the bed (I tend to listen to James Whale at night and fall asleep with the headphones in, so when the radio comes on in the morning we can't hear it! :rotfl:)
A footspa - unused. Obviously an unwanted present! (There were a few there so obviously most people find them more hassle than they are worth)
    A hi-fi!!!

There were a few printers there, and I asked one man dropping one off if it worked. He said it did, but the cartridges were so expensive to buy it was cheaper to buy a new printer each time! I didn't bother picking one of them up.

I took an embroidery to the local framing shop to be re-framed. I did it for my CSE in 1979 but in a move a few years ago the glass got broken so I felt it needed a new frame. The old one was a home-made one my dad made. The framer showed me what he thought would look good, and I must say it's going to look really nice. I think it will be worth the £35 it will cost.

I think I'm going to have to go back on the anti-depressants. I'm finding it hard to cope and am feeling just as bad as I did before I went on them. I had a long chat last night (until 1am!) with someone who has suffered from depression for many years like I have, and she said it won't be an admission of failure to have to go back on them as it's not something you can just "snap out of". Feeling really weepy and useless.
