    Pigpen i did see your post about being told to feed your child junk because of weight. I was told the exact same feed rubbish just to get their weight up shocking isn't it, she was politely told to get stuffed and that it wouldn't be happening so they put him on the drinks. Mine you i have an appointment tomorrow for both DD and DS1 and i'm sure they will be sent back to the dietitian.

    I was disgusted and said I would try to encourage her to eat more food in general but there was no way she would be getting junk food as they are of no nutritional value and given the high number in my husbands family who are diabetic & have heart disease there was no way I was setting her up with poor eating habits at 6 years old.. she could eat as much as she pleases but it will all be good healthy nutritious stuff. .. Why is it doctors don't like those kind of answers??? I wasn't rude or snotty about it.. :confused:
    :mad: :mad: I'm a bit grumpy:mad::mad:

    steph OMG he's a brave man :eek: My OH always totally dismissed the idea there was absolutely no discussion about it after number 2, no way would he have it done, and I wasnt that bothered and fine to be on the pill or whatever, but now we have number 3 he is well scared of having any more!! We are definitely finished and now he is actually able to say the word "snip" without going into a blind panic LOL I am still not bothered one way or the other, its up to him, so we shall see!!
    Don't know if you are or not, but you sound less stressed from the tone of your posts :)

    Hehe Our two kids are both a BIG handful, two little terrors. So my other half did'nt even like the idea that the pill was only 99% proof :rolleyes: . I also think that he was worried I might have "An Accident" so to speak :D . because, even though I admit that we can't cope with more than two kids, my heart was'nt as set in stone as my other half :confused: .

    So after we had our little girl, 15months ago, he suddenly decided that he would have it done, to take any doubt out of it. I did'nt like the idea of popping the Pill for the next 10+ years

    Tell your husband that my other half had it done at 10.30 yesterday morning, it took 15minutes (No pain AT ALL) he had a cup of tea and I picked him up at 11.30am. My husband is a builder and is currently working on the roof of a new housebuild and he was back to work this morning :T . It can't be that bad. At least they don't have BIRTH to get through :rolleyes:

    Actually Soappie, that's a good idea because people are less likely to question a red squirrel carrying a catapault if they're wearing latex gloves. I'll blend in better!:rotfl:

    actualyl can you wear the nonlatex gloves in that box over there.. or else my itching and sneezing and wheezing will give away everyones position!!

    Could you please rephrase that? :eek: If anyone's going to crawl into my personal bush then only great Danes (and handsome males at that) need apply.

    However, if you're talking shrubs, then, given that it seems you are taken to going to the pub now and then, you are nominated to utilise the juniper (from which they get the berries to make gin with) bush underneath the front room window....

  • So inspired by you all am I that I have cleared a corner in the kitchen-I am sure everyone has one of these where you dump stuff becuase you don't know where else to put the stuff-so result was 4 lottery tickerts which I have checked alas no winner, a load of paper for recycling-they have been today so will have to put outside for another 2 weeks- a couple of bill payments and the Shrek jelly post where we shove pur change at the end of the day in which there was £26.37 which is going to be used tomorrow to pay off OG catelogue bill which will leave a balance of £12.03! Thanks for giving me a kick start to get on top of things!

    My best friends DH had it done when he was married to his previous wife and then got it reversed, which was pretty painful. Now their family is complete, he decided to get it done again as it was fine first time round. Big big mistake. Very painful. However, still not as bad as childbirth!
  • Mudbath - how are the 5GCs going? Have to fess up here and say I havent done any. Maybe tomorrow...

    Soappie - cant wait for the update on ORF. I'll be soooo disappointed if its the gardener!!

    More confessions - met SIL for lunch today and I dragged her shopping afterwards. I was just looking, but she persuaded me to buy an outfit for Ladies Day at Aintree. It is a gorgeous dress with matching pashmina thing and a hat! Brown and pink, just lovely.

    I will do some flying tomorrow, honest. Bathtime for me. I got a new Val McDermid book from the library, so will get a couple of chapters read.

    Night all xx
