    ~crackle~ ORF UPDATE ~crackle~ ;)

    It's a goer again tomorrow!

For newbies who don't know, ORF is short for Operation Red F[strike]i[/strike]art. Apparantly a red fiat has been parking on my drive on a Thursday. Without my permission. I do not know anyone with a red fiat (unless the gardener has changed his car but I only ever see him on a bike).

I have found something to work on from home all day so I shall be doing the usual - pretend to leave for work at the normal time tomorrow but dump the car out of the way at the top end of my best friend's drive down the road and then sneak back home through the back garden.

The added bonus is that the gardener is due tomorrow so I should be able to very quickly eliminate him from my enquiries or else bang him to rights.....

    ~crackle~ UPDATE OFF ~crackle~ ;)

Gunsandbanjos - that reminds me of when mine were little. They only liked peas. So I gave them yellow peas - sweetcorn, knobbly peas - broccoli, white knobbly peas - cauliflower, long peas - beans and orange peas - carrots. Worked every time! I'm so mean.

With A we went through the sausage phase, sausage, fish sausage, chicken sausage, bacon sausage. Oh and then every meat she ate she had to be chicken! My old grandpa couldn't understand why we were all eating chicken on Christmas day 'But it's turkey' 'No papa IT IS CHICKEN' 'No it's.......' 'No papa IT'S CHICKEN' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

A quick catch up before I get ready for work. Only the dailies done this morning. Then while waiting for my tea to cook I cleaned the main food cupboard. Inside and outside and on the top. Oh dear Supernoodles 06:eek:
Living room tomorrow and its not too bad so wont take long.

My new yard gates are getting fitted tomorrow so can do some flying while they are done.

Soappie I was wondering what was happening to ORF.

Well wonder what my chores are at work tonight. We have one cleaning task plus the usual client care etc. Catch you all tomorrow Flyladies.
  • Soappie - count me in for backup! Working from home, so easy to sneak out in cam gear. It's already, and since the gardener came I've even got plenty of twigs to decorate the helmet! Anyone need a few?

Fed up! Work laptop is on a mjor go slow. It's taken me all day just to put in assessment dates for 7 candidates (18 visits each), with nothing else running at the time. I've sorted out papers etc while it's been thinking, but . Someone is supposed to be ringing to connect remotely to see what they can do. What with that and my broken laptop, I'm not happy, so I think I'm going to do some knitting after dinner instead.

    :mad: :mad: I'm a bit grumpy:mad::mad:
Just took me 5 hours to get to LO's hospital appointment and back!! There was a big accident on notorious roundabout where a big artic tried to eat a royal mail van:eek: Big fat delays all round, so was over an hour and a half late to see consultant, waited an hour to see him, then the accident had caused big delays on surrounding roads which coupled with rush hour meant nearly 2 hours to get home:mad: Incidentally our consultation was over in less than 2 mins:rolleyes: My sciatica is playing up something chronic after sitting for so long and i need a hug:rotfl:

Hugs Gunsandbanjos - maybe a nice hot bath then feet up to relieve that sciatica.

Soappie - i'm glad it's not just me mad about the birds. Fantastic that operation ORF is back on. I'll dust off my squirrel outfit...i've made a few adjustments so all the limbs are in the right place and I've painted it red incase anyone took exception to a giant grey squirrel in the area....sure they won't mind a red one.

I'm trying to find my list for tomorrow so I can cross something else off it. When I find it i'll edit this post.

Thundering Thursday- Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
Vacuum floors and sofas and may as well do whole of downstairs
    Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything & water & wipe the poor neglected plants!

    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.. the bottom 6 inches is just rubbish it has been there so long I'm surprised it isn't compost!!
    • Change any dead lightbulbs in the house!
    • Clean a radiator or two.

As I am up to date list wise, tomorrow I have to do kids room. Not looking forward to it, but if DH keeps DS2 down stairs I can get it done.

Friday we are off to Stirling for a wedding.

Tonight I only have the dishes to do and some laundry sorting.

    (((hugs gunsandbajos)))

Evening guys, just having 5 minutes peace (i love that book). Kids at footie little one with a friend at her brownie promise but due back any minute.

Parents evening went well. Feeling tired again and my stomach ache has come back the minute I ate something this evening but had been fine all day - really odd and those who know we well will know that it is stressing me already.

Soappie at least ORF made me smile

Big hugs Gunsandb - was the two minutes with the consultant worth it? How is LO?

    ORF preliminary orders

Please note, these may be subject to change at my slightest whim

Mudbath as a red squirrel, I expect you in position, in full red outfit, on the branch that slightly overhangs next door's front of the conifer in the front garden by 09:00 sharp - feel free to drop nuts/bolts/washers/mallets/poop :D - whatever takes your fancy etc. on their car in their drive - it would please me - we have Fallen Out. It should be easier for you to get into position now your arm is not attached to your head....

Pink - don the camo and twig it well. Your allotted position is underneath the castor oil plant next to the japonica - but be careful not to eat the seeds of the berries of the plant you'll be underneath - they contain the poison ricin (think George Markov and the umbrella incident). However, if you're really bored, feel free to extract the seeds from the berries and quietly process them whilst you're waiting - we could probably make a fortune selling the toxic byproduct on ebay.....

BFUP (best friend up road) is now primed and preparing her drive in readiness for the concealment of Thunderbird 1 (OK, it's not a Thunderbird, but I like to be dramatic)
