yuck need to add cleaning of downstairs loo door to my list. Just noticed whilst IU was in there (as you do). Normally dont see the inside of the door as going to the loo in the day here turns into a family event along the lines of "how many people can you get in a phone box". With the kids asking such questions as
Mummy have you got a hairy bottom
Mummy whats that tissue in your pants
Mummy is there another baby in your tummy (thanks for that lovelies)
Mummy why are your boobs so big (no I dont go to the loo topless they just seem to be drawn to watching me)
Mummy I am just going to fill up the sink and flood the house
Mummy what does soap taste like
Mummy are you doing a poo
Mummy are you doing a windy
    Mummy what are you doing

    I could go on

Thanks for it being bathroom day today pigpen, I hate bathroom day and now its done hurrah!!!

soappie - hope your sinusitis doesnt get any worse, can you take any decongestanty stuff to ease it ?

steph - hope you managed to not be too stressed today! I managed to get LO to have an hour long sleep in her cot altho this w2as of course when HV was here so she doesnt believe me that LO is a nightmare  :rotfl:
She was full of praise re me still bf though :T so I am giving myself a pat on the back :D and it does feel like the night wakings are worth it.

moj2 - hope DD got on ok at preschool ((hugs)). DS cried at drop off time from 6 months at nursery til pretty much the day he left at age 4 LOL. He also cried at drop off for the preschool sessions he did, pretty much from 2 1/2 to age 4 as well. Now he is a big boy at school I dont even get a kiss any more :( Most of the time he was fine when I wasnt there and it was all for effect.

galantvr4 - :j :j well done on getting this far without the fags. I'm not a smoker but my parents both were (they gave up after 50 years apiece  ) . If they can do it, anyone can.

Dusty - hope you have a more peaceful night tonight

Justamum - good luck weaning yourself off the meds, take it slowly you'll be fine :) I saw on your list something about a wooden coat hanger - we have laods, do you want one? They are full size proper coat hangers. I did have a baby sized one that might be more suitable for a pegbag, cant remember if I recycled it or not but if I can find it you are welcome to it. Let me know, PM me or something!

shell- 7 times in the night dont you hate it when they do that. Hope tonight is better

Redspecs and code-a-holic and stampyfoot welcome! Have fun! Can't remember which one of you has the room trasher ...but ...My DD1 trashes rooms - she is still at home - and DS does too after school - but tidying a trashed room is easy now they are vaguely clean and not too cluttered! Its the getting it clean and removing the clutter that was the hard part, you'll fined everything will get a little cleaner and tidier each week and the tasks will take aless time each week. After doing this on and off for a year almost everything in my house finally has a home so I know where most stuff is, it mostely has a "right place" to be put away. Previously I seemed to spend forever and a day just moving round piles of stuff that didn;t belong anywhere.

hollyh my DD1 is 3 and still in a cot (its a cot bed size though). Really must move her at some point but I am scared of another night roamer like DS was!

gunsandbanjos - LOL at what you said about Asda. Ours is the same. Full of chavs and weirdos. But its cheap !!! Gotta love it!

sexymouse - my hands are all yucky and dry and scratchy too yuck. Prob should do the vaseline and gloves things but yuck cant face that!

Mudbath - that poor kid not getting any fruit. Gotta blame the parents, poor sod, what chance does he stand.

AnW'sMum - great article :D I would prefer the maltesers to a night out though :rotfl:
i've had the same problem since giving up dairy
Mudbath and gunsandbanjos - I've just eaten half a red cabbage - raw   yummeeee

Justamum - LOL caught up - well done on the coathanger and sodastream!

  • oh dear - got my second wind - I think I can blame it on the fumes from the stuff to clean the filter things. On the other hand omg did it work - yuck they were manky - nice and clean now though :D

Mini muffins - hmmm not quite sure it was preheated enough (it was on for an hour before they went in) left the others in a bit longer fingers crossed please.

Phew second lot out and they look much better - okay will need to learn how this other oven likes to play things tomorrow.

I hope everyone is sleeping well - no more jobs now - need to be up in 5 hours

    Morning all

Cold and foggy here. I see it's kitchen day today - I did a lot of it last night when I was on the phone to my friend so I'll get off quite lightly :D Will check the list properly when I get in from work.

    Have a good day ladies
