Everyone really busy already. I'm at work now, having a quick surf with a coffee then got lots to do here today. Actually got some work to do! Then I'm going to start flying here too, it's a right mess. My boss gets stuff out and leaves it! Does really annoy me. Anyway, all ready to fly when I get home in between my dd's busy schedule!!! Oh to have a life again!
Have a good day everyone.Need to sort my life out! :T0 -
Morning everyone!
It's nice to be able to say that on a week day! Thanks for the tip stressedsteph re the mould on the wall. Will have to suggest it to OH who seemed to have no answers last night as to what could be done about the problem.
Well I managed to get most of the flying in the bedroom done yesterday - just a couple of things left on my list, so I'll post that in a minute, so I know what the plan of action is today. I've also got to bake some flapjacks today as I promised everyone that I'd bring some along to the planning meeting tomorrow to keep us all going. OH said he'd only remind me to make them if I make a seperate batch for [strike]him[/strike] home!
Well off to find my list now. Happy flying everyone!

galantvr4 - well done, I think you are doing brill. I have tried before but I think the thing is that you really have to want to give up. You are making me think about it. I don't like smoking, my dh and dd's don't like me smoking, when I go out I feel like a leper and I've just found out from sometime soon we have to buy a licence to smoke! What on earth is that all about.
Anyway, keep up the good workNeed to sort my life out! :T0 -

Well I've managed to find the list, and have copied it into word so that I don't get so distracted hunting it down again, and chatting on here. I currently have all of my windows open at pigpen's instruction, and it's actually quite nice sitting here in my pjs with the crisp fresh air blasting in. May have to close the bathroom in a minute though as I need to wash my hair so it may get a little chilly in there otherwise. In my frantic flying yesterday, I managed to use up the last of the kitchen roll, so need to pop out to get some more, and the lunch bits for OH that I forgot to get as I'm on halfterm and don't need a lunchbox! Will pop in later to catch up, and hopefully post a list with at least a few things crossed off it.
Congratulations galantvr4 on giving up smoking. We're all behind you, so if you feel yourself weakening, or just want to throw a tantrum, we'll be here for moral support.

Morning everyone - My list for yesterday:
Marvellous Monday - Master Bedroom & Landing
Level 1
Check fire alarms are working
Fling open that window and blow those cobwebs out!! Air the room!!! Nothing worse than a bedroom smelling of parps! It's too cold outside!!
Remove and wash bed linen. We weren't home this weekend so, won't do this til later this week
Level 2
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen.. Same as above
[strike]30 minutes floor clearance.. that includes floordrobe and junk![/strike]
Level 3
[strike]Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing[/strike]
[strike]Sort 10 things from a wardrobe/chest of drawers that you can get rid of... and a pair of shoes only counts as one thing! likewise socks!.. and it is time those knickers you have had for 37 years were binned.. let hem go liberate yourself!![/strike] I did this a few weeks ago - does that count?
Dust surfaces & [strike]make sure no cobwebs... [/strike]
[strike]WM x 2 & Hang up to dry[/strike]
[strike]DW[/strike]
[strike]S&S Kitchen[/strike]
It doesn't look like I've done a lot from the list but, the bedroom is actually tidy and looks clean after the bits I have done! I finally got my cross stitch out last night after everyone talking about it last week. LOVE IT! I'm hoping it will help on the giving up side of things....
Thanks to everyone with advice on my work situation. I have thought about setting up a meeting between the 3 of us and I've also thought about writing a letter. We are a very close office and I wouldn't want to get too legal about things. It just really scared me when he said I was messing up a family and could loose my job. It's not right to be given the consequences of something that I'm not actually doing. MD does this alot with all sorts of situations - he says he 'knows everything that goes on' but most of what he says isn't right. As I am the youngest in the office, he does pick on me quite a lot but then, I am part of the management team so, it is really confusing. No, there's no reason for CM to want something to be going on, and vice versa. We all work close together but that's because we are the management in the company and have to. I would hate for this rumour to get out to our operatives and then for it to snowball. If CM's wife heard the accusations, she would probably believe them which makes it even more difficult. The thing is, MD doesn't mention it all of the time - he only brings it up every few weeks which is why I thought he was joking. MD is off for at least a week now so I have some time to think about it. Was thinking about waiting until the next time he mentions it, saying I don't appreciate the accusations and if he says anything again - then write a letter.
Really sorry to go on but it's really been playing on my mind. I wouldn't dream of breaking up a family or my relationship, or put my job at risk!
Ok - moan over. Thanks again everyone for lending an ear/eye.
Hope everyone has a good day!
