wilkos league girls well done. What did we win again? Wasn't it vouchers? And if that is the case, i don't think lil-me needs to buy anything from there till next xmas by the sounds of it.
Yes vouchers, £800 between us I believe was the prize, little miffed by how closely we lost out to the £2300 worth but my credit card was empty :rotfl:nevermind. As for spending the vouchers, I always NEED something from Wilkos, hence my partner cringes as soon as I go in there, I have my eyes on some nice garden furniture seeing as ours was taken from the garden in the previous house  so they'll come in very handy to go towards that if they arrive sometime this year........

Oh and pleased it isn't anaemia, but this means you have no choice but to calm it a little now as it sounds more like you are exhausted.
One day I might be more organised...........

Bathrooms done, which gives me a whole day to do the desk (and conservatory as that's where my main PC is) I think I will need it, it's a mess, again! Paperwork definately needs sorting.....especially what is blocking me from seeing the monitor. Sitting room is ok at the mo so not too twitchy about it not being 'on the list' tomorrow.

  • Hi!
Managed to finish todays list and also cleaned hairbrushes (what a crazy life I lead!). Have washed DS's karate gear as apparently it should be white - rather than the grubby grey colour his had gone. It's now drying ready for tomorrow's burst of ironing frenzy to be spent with Max Beesley at Hotel Babylon.

DH thinks I've lost the plot - but am looking forward to sleeping in my dust free and fluff-bunny free bedroom. He's away for work tomorrow night so hopefully I can do the list without his helpful comments!!
Am hoping this time not to fall off wagon so spectacularly! I gave myself 45 minutes and then stopped to watch telly - working on the theory that 45 minutes was better than none at all! Hopefully I can keep this up!
cha97michelle - good news about test results!

I couldnt get logged on earlier. Was getting a message saying the forum was having essential maintenance  Hmmm

Amazing how much I managed to get done:

[/strike][strike]30 minutes floor clearance.. that includes floordrobe and junk![/strike]
    Level 3
    [strike]
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
    [/strike]
[strike]Sort 10 things from a wardrobe/chest of drawers that you can get rid of... and a pair of shoes only counts as one thing! likewise socks!.. and it is time those knickers you have had for 37 years were binned.. let hem go liberate yourself!!

Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs...
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    • 39 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter

Must clear out a drawer for BF to keep his stuff in. I'll do that tomorrow before I start the bathroom. I gave it a good scrub last week, so it shouldnt take me so long.

I want chocolate!!!! What can I have instead that is nice and sweet? I've had a banana and some dried cranberries, but I want something else!!

I want chocolate!!!! What can I have instead that is nice and sweet? I've had a banana and some dried cranberries, but I want something else!!

Burn a piece of toast, that is what usually set's ours off :rotfl:

And I would prescribe more chocolate ;) nothing else is quite as satisfying.

Well we have had a reasonably productive day, haven't been on list (when have I ever been?!) but I have parcelled up and dispatched 15 ebay parcels with A's help. Taken the DW to the tip once mum had helped me get it in the car. A 'had' to ride in the back of the car with it while W was up front. Then we went to the warehouse for ebay supplies to find that there was not much choice and they had increased some of the prices by 20% so from there we went to Matalan (as you do!) and got some new clothes for us all. A & W keep growing so they both needed new trousers. I got an outfit for the inquest. Couldn't find any shoes though so called at Asda's on the way home and bought a couple of pairs plus some new £4.50 trainers :D

We went to the 'dinner shop' on the way home as W calls it and got sausage and chips for them and chicken kebab for me. Just watched the Palace and now about to drop into bed with my book.

All in all not too bad a day.

skintscotslass there should be a button on the alarm that says test.....press it and it should make some sort of noise. If in doubt of it working or not, and you can't find instructions (some you may be able to find instructions for online) for what they cost (free from some fire stations) I would replace them.
One day I might be more organised...........
