I wish I'd found this thread sooner - I finished my draft on Friday so am awaiting feedback from my supervisor before making any final changes! Hope everyone's getting through it, what a great Summer it'll be once it's all over  xXx

re-joining this thread in the hope that it might spur me into action. I'm doing a PGCE, my dissertation is due on June 1st and as yet I don't even have a specific question  really need to pull my finger out this week and get my bottom into gear

    Hello,

I'm joining too though its probably a bit too late.....mine is due in on Tuesday and really trying to get the word count down at the moment......

The limit is 6000 words and I have done 5893 which would be fine, were it not for the fact I haven't actually done the introduction or conclusion......thats not good.

So now I am really worried that basically I haven't done it "right" because I have waffled too much and not talked about the important stuff......

Wish I had never started this blinking thing!!
  • 4 1/2 weeks to go for me as mine is due on the 22nd May.

Still need to finish my prototype system for client by the 29th april, analyse data from surveys, write the bleeding thing up, and prepare a presentation!

I wish my dissertation was only 6000 words! It was 12000! Good luck!

Mines due next friday. I would be working on it right now if it were not for my noisy neighbours with their music on full blast and singing along to 'all night long' which i imagine is about as long as they are going to go for. The joys of student living. Cant wait to get out of this rat hole

Good luck everyone. I was in the same position as you this time last year. I can't believe it was a year ago! It'll all be over soon :)

Sometimes I find that the longer word counts are easier, because it means you don't have to worry so much about condensing the information you have into a much smaller document.

    good luck everyone!
