I'm latching on to this thread!
No dissertation for me yet but several essays and revision for exams, all of which seem to have chased the motivation away
Hope everyone is doing well with their work!
Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.0 -
My dissertation is due on the 23rd April, and im in the process of data collection and analysis, so im getting there! Designing my questionnaire took a lot longer than i thought though, so I just need to be patient while I wait for replies!
Hope everyone gets their work done in plenty of time.0 -

you're welcome to send me one if you like .... I've been there and done that and I'm having to invent a "control group" now as I simply dont have time to nagg/cajole etc 40 of my existing 130 participants to complete.

Wow this thread has been active recently, it must be that time of year!
I got my assignment back (left to last minute and a muddle at the end as I ran out of time) and passed, thank goodness, though quite a lot of comments about the weaker bits. Whew, I can relax a bit, as it means I'm still on the course.
I lost a chunk of the work I'd done, as although I was saving the work on my laptop with a daily back up on memory stick, the file on the laptop disappeared after a strange error message. Since then I've bought an external hard drive backup thingy, which automatically copies across all files when plugged in. It wouldn't have made a difference that time (as it was a day's work only) but will retain all the stuff I've saved on the laptop on a weekly basis. I'm also going to copy across all my reference articles which are currently on memory stick only.
It's time for me to get going again, as I'm carrying out a pilot study in May-July and need to finalise my measures, as well as being clear about my methodology. Time to do a bit of background work on the design side and to check it out with my supervisor before I get stuck in.
Good luck everyone, especially those in the final stages of writing up.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -
Thanks to the people who filled in my questionnaire, i've managed to get plenty of results back quicker than expected and can start concluding my results. Hopefully I can finish it by the end of the week and then I should be on target to finish the whole thing on time, without all the rushing around at the last minute!
Good luck everyone0 -
Oh no! My disertation is due in ONE WEEK! Still sooo much left to do. I also have to prepare a 10 minute presentation about it for the same day. Was hoping to get it finished for the end of today so that tomorrow I can concentrate on the other assignents also due next week ad the 3 job interviews I have in the next week also. Stress!!! (sorry, just wanted to vent!)0
