That's so brilliant sali, loads of hard work ahead though - you must be a glutton for punishment, med school!
Yeah working while studying's fun pandora, been there etc...least the kids will be older this time! Makes life loads easier.
What field(ish) are you in, I met some great clinical psychs on my most recent placement, it's impressive work, tough though, and they certainly put the hours in!Anytime;)0 -
Congratulations Sali Mali - you must be very relieved to have got there (even if it is just the start!)
My kids are older too (in fact I didn't have them last time around) and I'm hoping to set them a good example (of studying that is). Not sure I've quite got there given their laid back approach....
I'm an educational psychologist and have been for years, studying, well educational psychology! We do work with clinical psychs sometimes and OTs too, though mainly with schools and settings.

I'm not sure about my kids, they're both reasonably ambitious, though laid back too. They've done well on schoolwork and projects so far, so we'll see.
Glad you're getting on well, and keeping up a life too!!
I've finished, handed in this morning, picked up MSc info, and I'm FREE!!!
After 2/3 weeks of 18+ hour days, I was fairly pleased with my work, now to wait for results...
Hope you all got finished in time.

Well done Jay - it just shows all that effort pays off in the end. I know about the 18 hours too... it was after 1 a.m. last night for me. And freedom sounds very attractive just now.
I'm on the final stretch of my 4k assignment here (I hope) as I'm getting ready to go away on hol tomorrow and definitely need to get this in before.
All done and ready to be posted (Wed 20th) though over word length and not a very slick ending but it'll have to do as I've run out of time. Now for some time off!!somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -
I got an A for my dissertation (= a 1st), and passed 4th year with merit (also = a 1st)...
I've just registered for my final year... Gulp! One more day of freedom... then the rest of my life goes to the NHS!April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200 -
Well done Dr Fluffy
Hi again, pandora and Jay
Dissertation is nearly there...i'm so stressed and exhausted! Am having it bound next week then will take it in to uni before Sept 1st deadline. Can't believe i'm gonna get my life back soon!0 -
Well done those who've finished! :T :T
I've recently received the mark for my 5,000 word assignment that I only finished two weeks ago and seemed to be never ending. I got a 1st and overall, I've achieved a 1st for my 2nd year. :j Will soon be starting my 3rd and final year, so fingers crossed I can keep on track for a 1st.
It won't be long before I'll be posting on here looking for moral support for my dissertation. The 5,000 word essay was heavy going and so I can only imagine what the dissertation will be like! :eek:0 -
I passed! Got very high marks for both diss and essay, both 40 credits (oh how I worked!!), so my borderline 2:2 / 3rd, is now a 2:1, YAY!!
Roll on future job and more study after a break--lots and lots to do /sort out with family etc.Anytime;)0 -
