I've just seen these mentioned on tv, missed most of it, nothing much on The Sun's website. Includes ferry cost. Says starts Sat. Anyone know any more about them???

These are the starting dates for Sun Holidays in Europe from £19.50:

Monday-Friday (4 night breaks): March 17, 24, 31; April 7, 14, 21, 28; May 5, 12, 19, 26; September 8, 15, 22, 29; October 6, 13, 20
Friday-Monday (3 night breaks): March 21, 28; April 4, 11, 18, 25; May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; September 5, 12, 19, 26; October 3, 10, 17

Note: Not all parks are available on all dates

Has anyone who's been on any previous European holidays with the Sun any recommendations?

I fancy going to a French site, what are their caravans like? How can you tell whether you might be given a tent rather than a van?

never been with the sun but been at the Ca Savio camp in italy and it was brill, 2 lovely pools, close to the beach, the town of ca savio was within walking distance, was small when i was there but had bakers etc. close to lido de jeselo where theres a big water park and close to venice for a day trip

fab site,lots for our boys to do and only an hour away from Disney if you fancied a day trip

they put coach trips on to Disney and paris few times a week

a nice / easy drive from Calais to the site too.caravan was nice,clean and tidy and the reps very helpful

would definitely return :T

but basic,no pool etc

Thanks RachieB, I think if we're just gonna do a four day hol then there's only a few near Calais - otherwise we'd be too tired from the drive to enjoy ourselves! Not keen on cities, prefer coast or countryside - has anyone been to Domaine de Drancourt?
