Have you tried looking in the job section of your local council. Its a bit of a long shot but sometimes they have jobs with unusual hours. Also night pharmacies, police stations might want admin staff. For a Saturday, how about consulting your local library. In this area, sometimes building societies, in particular the Nationwide advertise for Saturday morning staff. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

IF i was you would ask your CAB again if they can fund even a teeny weeny bit of the child care.
I have been a advisor since my son was really small as I just felt that I needed to get out the house.

I took on a bar job while my kids were small as it fit in with husbands hours. It was a bit of a rough and ready pub and I kept telling myself if i really hated it I could always pack it in.
I eneded up working there for 7 years and was made up to supervisor after a year or so ( more money ) )
Ive had many jobs and the boss at this one was the best I''ve ever had.
Made some really good friends there who I still see to this day and only packed it in as I was getting more and more hours at the restaurant I worked at in the day time. Got made manageress there as well and am better off than ever.
Id say go for it....you have nothing to lose and the tips can be worwhile as well. Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600

She said there's nothing at all because they're such a small CAB. If they were bigger it wouldn't be a problem.IF i was you would ask your CAB again if they can fund even a teeny weeny bit of the child care.

Is there no possibility of transferring to a bigger CAB? They might pay your travel expenses too, so even if it was expensive to get there it wouldn't be in the end, iyswim.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Bear in mind it's early days - it takes ages to get round to looking at CVs (I've taken 4 months before ) It's also half-term so loads of people busy occupying their deranged sprogs, whilst loads of other people covering jobs other than their own because the people are away entertaining the little darlings. It can take a few weeks for stuff to get in the system. Temping agencies can be a good way to get a bit of office experience or spin what you've been doing at Argos to include admin... but really it's just the time factor interviews are like buses you hang around in the rain for hours then 4 turn up at once and you can't work out the best bus to take. Hang on in there kiddo. I think it's great that you are doing this and I think it's great that you're investing in yourself long term. Long term it seems a very smart strategy. 0 ) It's also half-term so loads of people busy occupying their deranged sprogs, whilst loads of other people covering jobs other than their own because the people are away entertaining the little darlings.
