Thought I'd start the new meal planning week having deviated from my plan twice this week.
Spaghetti carbonara and chicken and bacon pie (mash topping) replaced HM chicken nuggets and fishcakes.
So here goes........
Fri: Fish and chips (first takeaway of 2008!)
Sat: Fish pie
Sun: Roast beef, Yorkshires and veg
Mon: Cold beef, potatoes and veg
Tues: HM fishcakes chips and peas (try again!)
Wed: Curry of some description. Am going to try HM naan bread
Thurs: Meal at mil's
Look forward to seeing everyone elses plans!

we have a bit of a tight week coming up so its going to be pretty boring meal plan for us i think
friday - turkey pittas with hm lime ginger and chilli seasoning
saturday - hm pizza and potato wedges
sunday - hm lasagne green salad and garlic bread
monday - sausage and mash
tuesday - hm shepherds pie
wednesday - hm meatballs with pasta and garlic bread
thursday - tuna/ cheese jacket potatos0 -
That doesn't sound boring at all Charley babes! I'm still trying to sort mine out.
editing... sort of sorted. THis last week was really turned upside down, but it didn't matter. Nothing got wasted, which is one of the aims.

Fri: Tortilla Beany Bake (Veg soc website)tortillas & beans already done in freezer, bargain avocadoes for some guacomole.
Sat: Lamb shanks, potato/swede/carrot mash, sprouts
Sun: Bacon, egg and beans or Tuna pasta bake with corn.... maybe?
Mon: HM Pizza
Tues: Lentil Vegi lasagne (Freezer)
Wed: Veg Curry and spicy rice... maybe...might have a go at onion bhajis.
Thurs: Chilli con carne (Freezer)
Friday: Snack for us, supper at quiz. eggy bread for kids
Sat: Snack for kids, supper at ceilidh. Fish for us (Freezer)

Only had 1 change last week, decided to use up chilli from freezer instead of buying beansprouts, peppers etc to make chinese.
Here's this weeks.....
Friday: Small low fat sausages, spuds, mashed carrot & parsnip, yorkies, peas & gravy.
Saturday: Pizza, oven chips, curry sauce & salad.
Sunday: Bacon & mushroom tagliatelle with garlic bread.
Monday: Roast chicken, stuffing, mash, roasties, baby carrots, brocolli & gravy.
Tuesday: Mexican chilli chicken with rice & salad.
Wednesday: Quiche, waffles & beans.
Thursday: Gammon steak, spuds, veg & parsley sauce.

Sunday: Toad In Hole, Mash & Veg
Monday: Chicken, Roasties, Yorkies, Sprouts, Carrots & Gravy
Tuesday: Lamb Stew & Dumplings
Wednesday: Egg, Chips & Beans
Thursday: Shepherds Pie, Cabbage & Carrots

Committed the ultimate sin of going shopping this morning without a listand no real idea of meals so i've cobbled this together from what we've got/what i bought.
Fri - Pizza and salad (DD at my mams)
Sat - Chicken kievs, potato wedges, salad
Sun - Omelette and salad/beans (OH away)
Mon - Egg, chips and beans
Tues - Tuna pasta bake (OH away)
Wed - Baked potato with L/O bolognese sauce, salad (OH away)
Thur - Pie, mash, broccoli and carrots
Fri - Chicken curry, rice, naan (DD at my mams)
Lol i've got a thing for salad at the moment!
Looking forward to reading every ones plans

Afternoon
This is my first meal plan in weeks.
Fri - pork chops, j pots, corn on the cob, salad
Sat - Shepherds Pie (oh is having a tooth out - hopefully he will be able to eat this)
Sun - Roast pork, roast trimmings
Mon - Saus egg and chips
Tues - Chilli and rice
Wed - Roast gammon, mash and carrots
Thurs - Gammon bubble n squeak & beans
Fri - Scampi new pots and peas
Sat - Lasagne
Sun - Roast.
Fingers crossed I can stick to this, should be ok, DD goes back to school Mon, DS Tues and OH will be working days all next week - bliss - havnt had that much time on my own for ages.0 -
Hello missed last week.
Fri- Spag bol
Sat Chinese chicken and rice.
Sun Meatloaf, roasts, mash peas swede carrots (and if i get my oven early enugh yorkies lol)
Mon - Steak and chips with onion gravy.
Tues - Chicken cacciatore (sp) pasta.
Weds Potato curry and rice.
Thurs - Corned beef hash
Fri - Fish fingers chips and mushypeas/beans.
Sat - H/M Tacos.
School term next week, lunches are sandwiches, beans on toast, egg on toast ect, breakies as per ceral fried egg sarnie, porrage.Grocery Challenge. £400. - £35.22 + £19.80 + £109.01 = £164.03
Other spends (Clothes Luxuries etc)£11.97 + £1.19 + £7.36 + £69.00 + £38.50 + £5.50 + £23.00 +£2.00 = £158.52:shocked::sad:0 -

Wednesday: HM Chicken Chow Mein SWAPPED WITH MONDAY
Thursday: Pizza & HM Garlic Bread SWAPPED WITH SATURDAY
Friday: In hospital for the day so a takeaway that I can suck through a straw! :eek: :rotfl:
