Happy Valentines day everyone

I'm at work atm and its FREEZING!!!! I have to go in the warehouse and achive some paperwork but i keep coming in the office to get a coffee and get warm

Thanks to those last week who gave me some ideas for a veggie meal. I made veg curry in the end with channa masala. Went down well

H is making me a meal tonight, so another day off cooking - twice in one week I am spoilt (was my birthday tuesday so had a day out of the kitchen)

Ive already had my Valentines present this morning. A lovely underware set i post when ive done for valentines cos he reads these forums so will post later.

Hope everyone is having a good day and your letter boxes havent got too jammed with cards

I have only just noticed that Stu had left a card on my bedside table. I got up in the dark and didn't notice it. :doh:

It's one he has made himself with a little poem inside saying we go together like champagne and ice...lol. Never had ice in my champagne (not that I ever drink champagne), so I'm presuming he means in an ice bucket...or maybe he means we don't really go together! :eek:

Maybe I should stop trying to analyse it? :rotfl:

Maybe it's a euphemism for hanky panky.

presume he's just trying to say an extra i love you and be romantic and... and... and and wants to play scrabble :rotfl:

I'm back - phew! Also walked the dog in the wonderful sunshine.

When I got there I had to compose a letter using some basic information given to me, fill in some database stuff and answer the phone when it rang and take a message!!! There were 2 other staff in the office who I guessed were admin staff. However, one of the women then showed me into the office for the interview and there was 1 other person already in there. The woman who had been sitting in the office at the same time as me then said 'and I didn't introduce myself, I'm Lyn and I'm head of department'...........oooooooooooooh, naughty!!!!!!!!!!! :eek: :eek:

I suddenly started to wonder if I'd said anything particularly inane whilst in there. I don't think I did, but I did have a bit of a problem finding where the excel file I had to use in the test had been filed, but I found it eventually so I hope that she didn't think I was too much of a numpty!

Anyway, if I'm successful, I'll get a call in the morning. If not, I'll get a letter in the post.

It went well, it depends whether they feel I'm over qualified or not really I guess or who else they interviewed Nice little job which they said had scope to be developed in any way I would want to really.

It's job day as well in the paper so that is my next task.

Must also clean the bathroom. It's in a shameful state.

hhmmm, I also think I should have set a a bit of the letter out differently so it would read better, but hey, too late now.
