Hi I just wanted to pop in and say well done - you're doing really well, and I'm sure you'll chip the DFD down in no time!

You've inspired me to check out the make £10 a day thread - think I'll be on board in March...

Thanks! You should try £10 a day its really helped me a lot! the bingo has been a huge earner for me - won £46 in the last two days!:j

I've decided i'm going to start trying to have a couple of no spend days each week... ooo now which ones should i choose?

Think i would be a bit daft if i picked a weekend day because this is normally the only time i go out as im at work all week - although ive spent nothing today..

Think I will make Mon, Tues and Wed my no spend days.. hopefully this will help get my spending down..also i'll keep up the spending diary hopefully this will embarass me into spending less!

Joined the pay off some much off your debt challenge... gone for £10k as im not on that great a wage at the moment and that will more than half my debt! Added it to my sig and gonna have it paid by christmas!

Joined Paps challenge for weekly spends too thought it might help me in keeping my spending diary... set myself a very low target of £5 for this week.. 3 NSD should help too!

Got roboform which automatically fills in my forms online. Been great today coz ive been filling in job applications (trying to get something a bit better paid! my degree might come in useful yet...) and doing bingo.. gonna find some competitions and see if i can win anything nice...

  • I'm definitely gonna check out the bingo, thanks Chick :D

Planned NSDs are a really good way to cut down on the spendin - once you've had a few they become addictive!

    Good luck x

    Hiya
Thought id pop in and say hi :hello:

Your doing brilliantly, well done. THE NSDs will really help you cut down on the spending. NSDs really helped me cut down on buying magazines etc, instead I signed up to the magazine deals you get, £1 for 3 issues etc.

Have you heard anymore from the guardian?

I'm now signed up on the guardian languages as a learning partner which means i can get paid for helping people but not had anyone contact me to help them so haven't earned anything yet...just a matter of sitting and waiting for someone who needs help....
