  • I try to limit myself to a set amount a month to spend on going out and having fun - plus the occasional treat every now and again!

Now i've started to become debt free obsessed i'm finding saving money a little easier. I tend to write everything in my own debt diary, what i've bought, the little savings i've made, how much i've paid off my debts. It really helps writing everything down.

back to bingo-ing today... need to get past the £10 a day target..

managed to make myself a sealed tin by attacking an empty celebrations tin and christening it with two shiny £2 coins lol!

I'm taken some advice from one of martin's books and enrolled my mum as a debt buddy. I've started a spending diary (which i'll stick on here on debt buddy day - 21st of each month) and i'm gonna go through it once a month with her to see if she can suggest any money saving things for me. Hopefully this will stop me spending on stupid things too!

Anyway i've been meaning to run a car insurance quote using martin's instructions to see if i can get mine cheaper so off i go....

been bingoing all night and won nothing pff!

been searching thru the 'up your income' forum to try and find something new to do...need something i can do in evenings and weekends preferably online...

found emystery shopper which is similar to mystery shopping but you do it with websites. Looks pretty good so ive registered but it can take up to 28 days to get started with it...

  • well done on nudging your DFD forward.

what car have you got? I love VW's, I have a Bora and used to have a Golf. My old mk 2 Golf was always patched up cheaply with second hand spares which really kept the costs down, Not so much of an option now unfortunately.
