Hi artnoble, sorry you are feeling a bit low.
I just wondered if you do things like Pigsback, Quidco, surveys, the free bingo sites etc, to bring in a bit of extra money?
If you feel you have no-one to talk to, why don't you join in the daily chat threads on here? They're very friendly, and a bit more 'gentle' than the Saturday night party threads. It's a great way to get to know people.
I have signed up for quidco but i never really buy much but i have it booked marked for when I do.
dont really know much about pigsback or surverys. I just imagine them to be for a couple of pennies but I may be wrong.
I have tried a couple of bingo sites but I get dis heartened even though I'm spending there money. Does anyone actually win? haha.Watch this space.... Will update soon!0 -
Hi - sounds like you've got a touch of after xmas blues - we all get it & when you'rs broke it gets even worse,. If you read - the library is free and they usually have alet'ish night. Also - perhaps now's the time to start studying that language/hobby/country/whatever - thru' the net. Even if it's only a start and goes nowhere - it IS a start. Hope you feel better tomorrow - and we're all here don't forget.0

Hi - big hugs
The surveys can be quite good - yes, some you are screened out of and some are a little tedious, but several do pay out quite often and others you collect points for various things - including nectar points which you could use to get cinema tickets etc to be able to get out and about more with. Yes, it might take a little while, but it's worth it if you are in anyway!

Hey there..
Hope you are feeling a bit better... :kisses3: :kisses3: have some kisses..
What kind of stuff do you like doing? Apart from having a drinky  ...
Have you checked out the freebies board for free cinema tickets? I go about twice a week for free.. and you can raid the food at home for cinema snacks etc.. take a mate along for free.. well worth it if there is a cinema near you..
Cheer up though, things do seem crap some days.. maybe you are going through some depression at the moment..?
Take care mate.. x
I never really think about going to the cinema, I dont mind doing things on my own I enjoy my own company so if I can get freebies then that will something to look forward to. never really looked at the freebie section but I will check it.Watch this space.... Will update soon!0 -
No, you're not greedy. Everyone needs to feel loved and appreciated - it's a basic need. The job situation is really weighing heavy on you, isn't it? And interviews - well, I don't know many people who actually enjoy them - I have always dreaded them personally! So you are not alone there. If you have access to internet, then try googling (after you've had a laugh googling for jokes of course) for career choices - life-planning, that kind of thing. There are all sorts of things on there to help you build up confidence in your skills and abilities and work out what your goals are. I don't think I'm allowed to put links in here - but look up life-mapping and that kind of thing -hope you will find something to inspire you. I'm going to get off the computer now because I've been here far too long this evening! Go and get myself some tea and toast and watch a DVD I've got from Love Film. Will catch up with you tomorrow and read your posts.

you may be right, hope it is just the blues.
I would like a new hobby or something that I can enjoy and get my mind away from things. I will have a think about it.
I always wake up alright, its my favorite time of day when I wake up becuase my mind is quite free and I haven't started to worry about things. Just gets worse as the day goes on.

I'm going to have to set some time formyself and look into this, it looks quite rewarding, if I have tickets I will go to the cinema but I wouldn't normal think about doing it other wise.
I might do that the weekend as I have no money to do anything else.Watch this space.... Will update soon!0 -

That really tugged a few heart strings that did, thank you so much for taking the time to read my posts. that goes out for all of you.
The job thing is really starting to get to me the closer it gets. I really need to pull my socks up. I've made a note of your post and will look it up tomorrow. Eyes are starting to drop.
