BT taken to court over non direct debit charges

That's interesting.
I have AOL Talk for calls.
Are you saying it's possible to have both, switching at weekends?
If you still have BT line rental, then YES.
It is what I do as I am CPS to primus.
Try it and see if it works (1280) and the number to dial.
I put charge advice on and then I know if call has been routed through BT.To setup for all calls (until you turn it off)
To set it up call *411#
To cancel #411#
To check status *#411#
If it does work for you and you know you used calls through BT and they then charge you for caller display give them a ring and they will refund it as I had to do that this month.
Side note:
I have read recently that some CPS providers are now using BT for routing even though you get billed from another provider, so if the one you use uses BT to transport the call then the charge advice will work on all calls.
I added that as AOL Talk, and Sky are some that may be using BT.0 -
Thanks a lot.
I'm sure AOL will be using BT. There is no other choice in this area, and AOL insist on a BT line for broadband.
I will give AOL a ring and double check (free call:D)0
