Going Places are your travel agent not your tour operator. . Going Places are just the agent, or middle man that sold the ticket to you on behalf of your tour operator; they will be waiting to hear from the tour operator. If they keep mentioning Thomas Cook then maybe Thomas Cook are the tour operator and are expecting to put you on one of their own aircraft....

Zero, that's the flight we were meant to be on too. Futura, 2nd October, 2pm from Manchester? (EDIT, just seen you are going on the 25th Sep, so not the exact same flight)

There are 4 of us. I wouldn't mind, but we booked in December and I only booked my aunty and uncles about 3 months ago, so I'll go mad if we don't get on that same flight as they have now.

Rang First Choice again this morning, they are about as useful as a choccy teapot!

Rang Cosmos ourselves and after OH gave them a little grilling, they rang back and we've been booked onto a Monarch flight going out at 9.25am, same as my aunty and uncle, so we're all happy now!! xx

hi all just to let u know will not b going to lanzarote only flights that they offered us was from gatwick really stupid flight times . wud have taken us aleast 3 hours to get to the airport total waste of time thomas cook .we are now going to menorca on the 28th sept instead of the 25th sept most likely will rain all week

Aww sorry to hear that! If it's any consolation, we went to Menorca 3 years ago, on the 25th Sep for a fortnight, and of that fortnight, it only rained for 3 days. Some days it was sooooo hot, so fingers crossed you'll get some decent weather xx
