Thomson have sent me a letter to say that my flight to Majorca with Thomsonfly will now be with Futura International Airlines and changed my flight times by 3 hours,i've never heard of them and now kind of worried:eek: . Thomson have also cancelled my extra leg room seats & added meals to the flight which i don't want.
Has anyone flown with them in the past ?

I flew to Tenerife from East Midlands with them in 2006. Very good flight, no problems or delays. The staff were predominantly Spanish and were very polite and professional. This space has been intentionally left blank0

Have a look HERE**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0

Not flown with them personally, but will say that Futura are a very reputable Spanish charter airline. They have been around since 1989, and were set up by Aer Lingus, who still own 20% of the company. Don't worry they are not some fly-by-night operation!
Their website has some limited information:

A friend of mine has flown with them and said the food was utterly awful. Might be an idea to cancel the meal and get a refund if you've been charged for it.0

Flown with them, was a great flight. No pushy sales or camp flight attendants. Just a no frills flight with very polite spanish staff. Food looked really nice on my flight and I was gutted I hadnt booked meals.
Would deffinately fly with them again without hesitation.0 -
Flown with them a number of times over the years, always been fine. They are a good Spanish charter airline, crew are obviously Spanish but all speak English.
Thomson will have sub chartered the flight for operational reasons rather than using Thomsonfly. Futura will not offer the same service ie. extra leg room seats hence they have been cancelled. You may find the inflight meal is included as don't think Spanish charter airlines are into charging for meals like we are in the UK.
All the main tour operators in the UK have used them at some point you will be fine with them:j Debt free since 31/01/08:j

Yep, they went under yesterday. Seguro Holidays who used them for 80% of their flights went under today and are blaming Futura:j Debt free since 31/01/08:j

Have flown from Exeter with Futura a couple of times with no probs, they have mannerly and polite hostesses and the food was ok not outstanding but edible. Think its a Spanish airline and if I remember correctly hostesses were spanish.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494
