I would seriously consider a THREE WiFi hotspot at £5.49 per month with no upfront costs and this gives 1G data per month - but you have to be a THREE customer to get this deal !!
Thanks for the tips guys! Unfortunately, I am not a THREE customer, my phone contract is with T-mobile... For non-customers it's 7.50 per month and, as I said - I am not sure it's worth it because I've only use the tablet every now and then outside and I've got wifi at home. I was thinking of a PAYG plan which will allow me to use the allowance when needed. I can't believe no one offers internet for tablets this way - now that tablets are around this seems to be the most obvious solution...
Also, I should perhaps mention that the tablet requires a micro SIM card, someone offered a 3-month offer that cost £20 but for a older type tablets with normal size SIM card.0 -
Hi everyone
I am getting absolutely crazy trying to set up 02 on my unlocked Three dongle (ZTE MF122) I tried for 2 weeks and nothing despite following instructions online from a number of sites... connections in the profile is active but PC says "the connection attempt failed" can anyone advise?
Alternatively are there unlocked dongles out there which are easier to use? I already heard that THREE dongles are hard to unlock or set up on new networks, are there easier ones out there?
Thank you0 -

That is an absolutely terrible recommendation.
You can buy the MiFi from Argos for £21.99 and 2 x Six Month Internet Boosters cost £40. so £61.99 as opposed to £119.99.
What on earth were you thinking? £79.99 for a locked 3G MiFi??0 -

Buy this T-Mobile Micro SIM for £0.99p. Comes with £5 of credit. Add £15 worth of credit and purchase the 6 Month Internet Booster.
Six months of Internet usage for £15.99. £2.66 per month.0 -

hi! just got a 3 portable wi-fi (on contract) for my husband's iPad mini while he's at the Royal Liverpool Hospital. I am not tech-savvy so I wonder if there's something else I needed to do apart from putting in the batteries and charging the device as he still could not get into the 3 network. The hospital wifi connection isn't strong enough (on and off) and I thought this was the answer. Unfortunately, the device isn't working. Does he have to register somewhere or does he need a SIM, i have no idea. Please help. Thanks.0

Have you put the SIM inside the unit?0 -
Hi - I have read all the threads but still unsure what to do when we relocate back to UK in Feb and move to our new house. We have no UK phone contracts.
I will be running a laptop, tablet, new smart phone (tba) and new smart tv in the main house, hubby will be using his laptop in the office, and our son will be running a laptop and TV (not smart) in his annexe. We all watch/stream different films, watch different tv programs and browse internet for hours per day.
I was hoping to run all these from 3G broadband via my new smartphone, but have a feeling it wouldn´t work. What would be the best broadband/tv/phone service/package for our family? And how can we ensure compatibility. I can only get 3G in the area.
I am a pensioner so step by step replies for dummies essential.
Thank you.0
