the POST OFFICE I usually use when required to post items at a post office is due to close in 2 weeks time. Will this location still count as a post office, or do I need to find an alternative post office when my schedule states I am to post my items at a post office rather than just a post box?

I should think it will still count cos the post box will stay there i should imagine. You could always email or phone them tomorrow to ask:

    HELPLINE: 0800 015 3150

    Email: postalsurvey@research-int.com

Thanks I have emailed them. The post box will remain, and I hope I can continue to use that, the nearest PO isn't as convenient. Will see what htye say.

All i can say is that they do like the PO postboxes very much
If you board the wrong train, it is no use running along the corridor in the other direction.

My trial letter says post at a postoffice......nearest one is 2 miles away...

However there is our local sorting office with Post boxes outside, could I use this instead

If you have selected the sorting office as one of your boxes that should be ok, but if you have selected the Post Office 2 miles away I think that is the one they mean, as that will be the one they are monitoring.

I think it will have to be the Post Office one as that is the one they are stating on the posting schedule.

I very rarely post my letters where they specify (PO/PostBox, etc.), I post them at the place I've registered which is most convenient to me on that day. Same goes for the times of postings and they haven't complained so far!

People are getting far too worked up about this. Remember you are only getting paid 18 stamps a month to do it so put as much/little work into it as you think it deserves!
