Well I was checking my listings etc. and saw a book had gone, nice 0 where it should have been - costing £12.00 - very happy Amazonian. Get the email and it is yet another "pending". This is the third "pending" since Saturday!!!   AT do they ever come to fruition and should I relist the one that came through on SAturday?Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

These pending sales are a pain, from my experience it is just the odd one that gets paid later, the rest just end up as not sold and you have to relist them. I can't see that there is anything that can be done about them - at least it's not as bad as an ebay non paying bidder where you are waiting for days expecting to be paid and then having to ask ebay for your fees back.0

Talking of ridiculous prices, we have a childrens book called Copy cat teaching children to draw very simple shapes etc. Listed it on Amazon - bear in mind this is a thin paperback style book, and an American Seller had it on there for £288.32! The next one down a UK Seller had it for £1.25!!! Big difference! :snow_laug :snow_laugGrocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

A minor triumph - one of my weekend pending books has just sold! - but not to the original buyer, I re-listed it again as soon as I dared and it's found a new buyer, so all is not lost.0

Arghhh..I've run out of my book sized padded envelopes.
On the 5p day on ebay on Saturday I listed a few odds and ends of books and sold the lot, just about managed to scrape together the last few envelopes to post them out yesterday and have got up this morning and sold two from Amazon..I'm desperately hunting round all my store cupboards to see of I have suitable envelopes, but no luck. That means a special trip just to get a couple of envelopes.
Still the high ebay sales plus the odds and ends through ebay have been very welcome this week.
The odd thing with the Amazon books though was that I wasnt the cheapest seller on either of the books. I can see no real reason why they choose my copy as opposed to the cheaper ones, but I don't mind!

Has anyone got any tips for getting that damp musty smell out of a book? The book will probably get me around £10 ish but I don't want to have to sell it all stinky...it seems wrong!!!

If you interleave sheets of kitchen towel in amongst the pages it will absorb the smell, may take a while!0 -

I have used fruity/herbal tea bags between the pages and that worked.

I sold 1 thing over the weekend and then 9 between mon and tues, there is no rhyme or reason to this selling lark.
With regards to the musty book, just a suggestion but what about those sheets you get to put in with your tumble dryer with your washing to make things smell nice.Place a few between the pages.0
