Last time around, the £29.99 chair was called 'The Boss' - can't remember whether VAT was included in that price or not though (I suspect it wasn't).

Anyway, the same chair is £34.99 inc VAT (and obviously Del) and can be found here

Thanks for the information, the chair is indeed called 'The Boss' and can be found using the code:- Q27-BOSS - if you buy a pencil or something to go over £30 then delivery is free but you do need to add the VAT.

Brilliant! Thanks for this - I seem to remember something about it before - does anyone have any experience of comfort and quality (ok, what quality do you expect for that money - but comfort is key to me!)

go to the 'order by catalogue #' link on the r/h side of page and input original product code. Subject to VAT so actual price is £35.24 including delivery.

thanks to the OP for this link.

Thanks Huggins saved me typing this :D

The order code is still A28-MALAGA and as Huggins has said subject to VAT so will qualify for free delivery without adding anything else to trolley.

I have ordered several of these for Friends and Family and they are outstanding value, I own one of the original £50 ones from a few years back and it still looks like new ;)

Due to the middleaged spread :o), I find that the versions of these with the plastic base are rubbish. I bought one of the plastic base ones from Viking 12 months ago, and within months the legs had bent, and finally one of the plastic arms snapped off - very poor quality.

However, these look a little better made, and with a chrome base it *should* remove the problem that I had with the plastic type base and legs. For £36 it's worth the gamble and if you weigh less than 15 stone it shouldn't be a problem ;) .

Chairs similar to these go on ebay for £49.99+ so it is good value.

I'm actually sat on one of the chrome-based ones as we speak, no problems at all. I actually bought this for my other half at xmas (to go with a desk and new computer I got her), and have 'borrowed' it because my £120 chair from staples only lasted 3 months before falling apart!

Quality wise- for the price it's excellent. As comfortable as most too.
  • Thanks - have just ordered one.
