its no good, i rang cccs and they said IVA's are the only thing they cant get involved in. they gave me the number of the insolvency helpline who basically said its a dispute between me and the IVA company and as IVA's arent regulated there isnt much i can do except keep arguing. if only someone who works there would see sense they would clearly see that our arrears are only 244 not 966 . i am in floods of tears now and really cant go on. i cant copetrying to lose 3 stone by end of 2014;)0

How are you doing? Please ring the CCCS - and possibly CAB - and they will be able to advise you what to do. Take heart from what people have said here though - everything has a resolution, it just sometimes doesn't seem like that when you're going through it yourself.
I expect you're already seeing a Dr if you suffer from depression in any case - but if not, please do. I have to take tablets to get me through the day and it makes life an easier thing to bear.
At the end of the day, it is only money. Easy to say when it's not you but it is truly the case. You obviously are a great person and have a hubby and a dog - that is what matters in life, not IVAs or anything else. It will get better - we just need to find a way.
Let us know how you are getting on.

Sorry our posts crossed. Have a big hug ((())) and let's see what we can do.
Have you written out exactly how the arrears are made up so that you can talk it through with someone else? I find that I get flustered (particularly if it's something about money) if I don't have it all prepared.
I would ring the IVA people and demand to speak to someone senior and see how you get on then.
Sorry, I've got a few more ideas but someone's at the door. I'll be back shortly.
Take care

i wrote it all out in the same format as they used and sent it in a letter to them. they are so stupid that they have ignored everything i said to them. i just feel like im banging my head on a brick wall . i just tried to call them again but am told only one person can deal with my account as they are the one assigned to it. think im gonna take the dog out again to calm down a bittrying to lose 3 stone by end of 2014;)0

Right.....just so I am getting this straight, only the person signed to your case can help you? So is that the lady who realised there was an error (the lady you rang about 4 weeks ago)?? Are the calls recorded? Could she not get a log of the call??.......sorry, I might not be much help, but I am really concerned about you.
How about asking for your advisor to come out to meet you why you go through paperwork, or arrange to go to their office if it isnt too far away.
I'm shocked you cant speak to someone higher up......thats not fair.I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you
would like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing

I'm back again although will have to go again in a minute.
Have you spoken to CAB? It cannot be that you have to deal with only one person - as outrageousmonkey says, that really is simply not fair.
I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't just some sort of horrible admin error - I wonder if they forgot to change the details on the 'puter when you spoke to them. I agree with om above - if you have the name of someone you were talking to then they should remember what was agreed and have it noted on a file in any case (although that isn't always the case I know). In any case, if only one person can deal with your case then they should have been the only one they'd let you talk to anyway (following their logic).
Hope the dog's enjoying all the walking. I really think that CAB is worth talking to - their advice is free and they might be able to come up with better solutions than I'm managing to at the moment. If I can think of anything else I'll post again.
In the meantime, take care of yourself. We're all here for you and are concerned for you. I'll help in any way I can.
Keep posting.

I'm really pleased you spoke to the Dr :T . Your health is more important than anything else in the world. I hope it goes OK - just be completely honest and tell the Dr exactly how you're feeling. If you can get your health sorted out you'll be able to deal with the rest of it much easier (trust me, I know).
Well done for making it through the day. Have a good evening and please try to relax. You're doing the best thing you possibly can - if you can, try to put it out of your mind tonight and give yourself some time off (I'm useless at following my own advice, mind!).
Let us know how you get on tomorrow morning.
