We are having a party for my little boy in a few weeks and naturally we are having a buffet.
Rather than having the usual things, I am keen to have a big bowl of chicken curry for people to have.
Where can I buy a large quantity of chicken curry like caters use? The stuff that comes in a large foil tray.

Can't help with the trays but what about you buy a few jars of sauce (ask for a discount for quantity or look for bogof offers) and heat? What if there IS no PMS and this is just my personality

Boil chicken boneless breast in a big pan with 1 or 2 chicken oxo cubes in the water. When cooked, cut up into cubes / chucks place into a large pan with (supermarket) curry sauce, bring to the boil and then simmer. When cooked leave to cool then place into the fridge. Do as many pans as necessary.
Remember that most kids don’t like new and strange things.
Try cosco or macros for foil traysI remember when this was just a little website! :money:0 -

The currys that Adsa sell on their deli are available in big tubs if you ask for them. I am assuming this party is going to be mostly adults....otherwise you may be left with lots of curry and hungry children! We did a similar thing for my daughters 1st birthday - several slow cookers.. one with chilli..one with chicken supreme and a few others with rice. Went down really well (but had some party food for the kiddies!)I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

The party will be mostly adults but we will have the usual stuff for kids too

Can't help then! Try asking some of your local takeaways or any caterers in the area2p off is still 2p off!0

In the asian area of our town, there are loads of caterers that do gorgeous curry (ie not takeaway/jar curry), parathas, samosa and the like for large groups.
If there's an Asian community in Liverpool, then take a drive through the area and you'll see lots of caterers/sweet shops that will be able to quote you for the food or point you towards someone who will.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I don't have any curry problems here in Oldham, capital of Pakistan.

Hiya
How many people are you catering for?
I am pakistani and have a chicken pulao, raita and chickpea salad recipes (authentic stuff & tasty!) on my pc that I can let you have - we use them for family gatherings and are easy to do for large numbers (usually have dozen or so adults min!)0 -
