Two points, sorry if this is a bit harsh

A - I haven't read all threads about this topic but if someone else has already agreed to do this date why have you taken it upon yourself to just do it anyway?

B - Maybe other people have said otherwise but is it really a good idea to put 29/02 over 2 weeks early? What if new comps are posted that end on that date? Are you going to bump this thread up on or around the 27th/28th of the month?

Hi princessmoneysaver - I think this has been a misunderstanding as Ryan had agreed to do it, but on this thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=733985
monsieur epargnant had also agreed to do it.

As for doing it early, the list is so extensive that it would have taken the op a long time to compile it, and it can be added to if anymore comps come up in the meantime.

Thanks to both Ryan & monsieur epargnantfor offering to do the last of the month cos it's a biggie!! :T

well done on the list, but I'm not sure how you're gonna add all the other comps with the same end date that are added later? Are u gonna go through all the pages again?

As long as threads are sorted from date started, it will be easy to check which posts need to be added as it will be from today onwards.

If we just prefixed them with Eyymmdd, we could sort them easily. I know it's been said before, but it needs repeating all the time. :-)

What a shame that 2 people wanting to do a good turn for others have got themselves confused - there's no need for people to get funny with some-one trying to make our lives easier....this is a lllllooooonnnnnggggggg list and I don't mind starting it early and keeping an eye on any new posts that come in for that day.....you could say the same for all these 'comp ending' threads....it is up to us to check if any more comps for that day have been added surely? I find these lists so helpful and it would be a shame to put some-one off doing them.......Thank you to all of you who do them....you are all angels:A
