Hi I have only read through parts of the thread so I may be asking something that has already been answered so I am sorry if so.
I want to start getting on top of my house. Its getting me down how I procrastnate then I do a mass clean and it looks lovely....for a day....and then I think well whats the point etc etc the same as many people I am sure.
So I want to start this routine especially the morning routine as at the moment I get up in just enough time to mad rush us out of the house and just do enough so we are clean and presentable for the day but feel very stressed and the house is left in what ever state we leave it!!!
So my question is how do you do the daily routines of cleaning certain areas etc on the days you are working all day? Do you do it when you get in? But then I suppose the first thing I do is put the dinner on?? Oh how are people so organised in the home?
Funny thing is I am so organised in other areas of my life!!??!!0 -
KM I used to feel like you, I think if you have spent oodles of time getting it lovely you will feel like that. I never get the whole house done anymore but now know that it will all get done over the course of the week. I only work part-time and not all the time so I can't advise on what you can do but try following our week next week just doing what you can each day. Don't play catch up like we do to start. If you don't get Monday's list done, start Tuesday a fresh and see how you go - good luck. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
