GG you have made the same decision I would have. I've been at home for 14 years now with the kids and don't regret it at all. Hate to say it but I think they need you more as they get older

Bit late reporting back but had to repaint DD1 face and then DD2 woke up so had to do hers too:rolleyes: .

Bedroom looking ship shape. Sorted through wardrobe and have got rid of a coat I dont need anymore plus a blouse that I hate and a few other bits so now have quiet a big bag full to take to the charity shop - job for tomorrow.

Bought hair dye earlier but as we are going swimming tomorrow will do it tomorrow night. Will not be swimming on Friday as DD1 friend is meant to be coming round.

GG - For what its worth I think you made the right choice too. I think if you went for the money it would be something you would look back on and regret.

Posted job application off for a term-time job today so can we have some positve fly vibes please (closing date not till 18th and then upto 21 days before you hear).

Tea on the go, DH phoned will be late due to the amount of fog around here but safe and steady is the way to go:D . Oh! I maybe getting a brum of my own. FIL is selling his so DH wants me to try it out at the weekend. Am well chuffed but it now scares the poo out of me 'cos of the pressure to pass my test:eek: .

Right best rehoover the lounge and the littles had a packet of crisps earlier.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU TO ALL FLYLADIES

Just had someone knocking at the door asking if they could come in to view the house, now before flylady I would not have been able to get the door closed quick enough but because of this site I was able to say yes come on in, they had a good look round and made an appt for tomorrow to come back for a second look. So fingers crossed. If this couple ended up buying I will be for ever grateful.

Anyway off to make tea now and then its the ironing tonight, but aiming to get OH to help as its mainly his work shirts and hes usually quite good at ironing a load.

GG another vote for the right decision here. Term time jobs are great as it must mean loads less stress as there is little or nothing to organise childcare wise when they are off school. I think we have all got the best job in the world being mum's pity the pay isn't better!

Well Im back from my away day and its been a brilliant day. Its true that being out in the sunshine lifts the spirits. Morning coffee in a tiny village with a very impressive castle in the background. Then a walk along a beautiful unspoit beach. Next down to another village on the coast and fish and chips for lunch sitting by the harbour. Afternoon coffee in a second hand bookstore which is in a very old railway station. They have a lovely open fire and coffee. Its been sunny all day till teatime when it was turning foggy as we drove back. I call days like that food for the soul. Did manage a little flying before I left.

  • Thanks everyone for all the support!! I guess I thought I'd made the right choice but there was always this doubt! Hopefully a good night's sleep will come! Mudbath - you're so right! I have learned such a lot - now if only I can get my act in gear and keep up with the flying!!! Still - also managed to make Krispie cakes with dd2 today so maybe I can use them as rewards/bribes together with the malt loaf to get all 3 gingers helping out tomorrow!! (Not sure they work on husbands - may have to try my feminine charms, if I can remember how they work!)

    Hello again
Think i'll be posting a lot this evening as i've just had a call from the hospital to say they want to see me again about a lump that I have. I'm sure it's nothing serious, I keep telling myself that, but you can't help but worry. I've had pre-cancerous cells before so hopefully that's the worse it will be again. So, please forgive me if I waffle a bit tonight! I've only got to wait until tomorrow at five so at least it's not a huge wait. Hope you don't mind me burdening you all but I needed to tell someone and DH is away.

Anyone for a HHC 7 till 730 to keep me occupied xx

How stressful for you Mudbath. I was going to sit on my bum but will join you for a HHC instead.
