The kitchen is sparkly.. hubby still not home so I could have done the poo parlour... I can't be faffed with the front room.. it is full of child gibble so I'll make them shift all that and it may be less daunting!!

Nursery just rang. Water supply has been cut off and i need to go and pick up DS. Puts paid to my plans then.
On the + side you have a fab nursery there... the nursery DS went to was without water for 2 days before they told any parents. The charming chap who owned the place told the staff there that if they sent the kids home they would all be issued with their P45's. Kinda goes without saying that I withdrew lo after that - was the last straw. The girls who worked there cared about what they were doing but the guy who owned the place just took all the money from it and didn't put an awful lot back in...
ok better get back to the bathroom - want to try and get it finished before I go out - need to put kids blazers into cleaners, pay gas & elec bill, go and pay another bill and that is it - will take them for new shoes on Thursday maybe after OH has finished work :rotfl: and then could get another shelf for the kitchen at the same time - I feel a plan forming...0 -
In my HHC I -
finally emailed Open Uni about a course I am interested in & then emailed Dundee Uni to see if its acceptable for teacher training.
wiped dining table & put on clean cloth
dusted extra furniture in dinin room
emptied and washed out bin
started the fling boogie - not much left around to fling at the mo
Off to start in the bathroom
How did you get on likklegibbon?
PS someone yesterday was mentioning HSM stickers I have spares my inlaws gave the kids money to finish their book so I ordered direct from pannini and as well as getting the stickers that we wanted they sent some which we already have if you let me know who it was I will Pm you with what numbers we have as spares.0 -
Jjef - not brilliantly today - think it's cause I can see the sun outside....um.........think I'm gonna go and blow the cobwebs outby going for a walk while its still sunny. Have been stuck inside too much this last couple of weeks.
Right, mind's made up - will have a wander down into the village and see if that wakes me up ........... the poo parlour will still be there when I get back, I'm sureI'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
Bother - I now have a neighbours 2 kids, returning a favour so can't complain but I want peace and quiet and they are noisy and make a mess - time to put the hoover on.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Been to the doctors with LO and i have 2 bottles to collect poo samples in:eek: Maybe i can just scrape it off the wall next time she does it
Seriously explosive diarrhoea (was that TMI:rotfl: ) Apologies to anyone eating lunch:o
Also got the food shopping done, its amazing how many things i've discovered are dairy free(pringles-though not salt&vinegarhob nobs:D )
Managed to resist the hob nobs, i have been replacing dairy stuff with crap instead so bought loads of fruit to eat;)
My poo parlour is still poo covered at the mo, just finishing my cuppa then will make a start. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Oh it is broken Michelle, so very broken, it just won't take messages from anyone whose name begins with a P. This means that I still can't receive lists from her. It's a real bind as I still can't read the front page of this thread either....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Afternoon all
Two loads of washing done, including throws and cushion covers. Some dried and put away and the rest won't be long.
Apart from cooking lunch I haven't done anything else and I'm not going to.0 -
Ah Polly great minds think a like I am just about to put a throw in the washer.
Kids in the garden - sofas and most of living room hoovered. Onto the wet wiping, it needs to be lovely for when I am lounging, drinking champagne and eating cake tomorrowThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

   I am shocked by that, as it is a health and safety issue and it could have been shut down.
Actually, what shocked me more were the number of parents being awful about it with the staff. It is not like they went out and cut through their own pipe. Yes, it is not good when you had planned a day without the kids, but not worth ranting at the staff for. God, they put up with some rubbish.
Anyway, DS was asleep when i got there, he went straight in his cot when we got in, and is still sock on now.
I have been sorting out a paypal issue. I bought something as a birthday pressie for mum and paid quickly - the woman selling it was a star and pointed out they had used an echeque payment. How naff. So i needed to pay ASAP to get the goods, and we have had a bit of a mess around trying to cancel the 1st payment and send another. The woman i was dealing with was very good and helpful, and restored my faith there are some nice people around.
Knackered now and definitely going to mums when DS wakes up.0
