My mum thinks its grotesque. I found a horse skeleton the week before on the moors, I just said it's lucky I didn't find the horses skull!
*Ponders how a human skull would look on the mantle*

Hi Lurkio - My OH & I work full time and I joined this thread a few weeks ago - my house has definitely improved. I tend to do a maximum of 1 hour a night and I don't always stick to levels, as such. I pick the main things that need doing most in each room (from the list) and do them - usually while dinner is on, if I can. I always do at least 1 WM load a night and hang it up before I go to bed. On the weekends, if I have any spare time, I do any extra bits I've missed off of the list. I have had major help from OH recently as he's been finishing early so, I got a week off last week but, it all gets picked up again this week!
Maybe you and your OH could agree half an hour each a night? You won't believe what you can get done in half an hour, between you! I cleaned my whole kitchen last night in that time and it looks lovely! I even took pictures (cause I'm sad...!) No, really - I am posting them to my mum who lives in America and she hasn't seen the house.
soappie - *bangs walkie talkie against computer repeatedly, wondering why so much radio silence* Where is the RF? So dissapointed but can't wait for Plan B!!! *laughes wickedly* When are you putting the camera up?? What are you going to do once you catch RF on tape???? *bangs walkie talkie against computer again* ashbart over and out
As I did the kitchen yesterday, I will be flying round the front room and stairs tonight. I'm making chicken & bacon pasta with a Philadelphia Cheese Garlic & Herb sauce. It's SO yummy and SO easy!!! I love talking about food..... Does anyone know if Aldi's chicken breasts are any good or should I steer clear? I live right next to an Aldi & Lidl's but, don't use them as often as I should!!!
Later everyone. Ash xxOfficial DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Now listen here lady, you are NOT A FRAUD ok, repeat after me, I am not a fraud, I am not a fraud.
I was off work before A was born with work related stress, was pregnant at the time and DH said 'you are not going to work' Think I would have fought against him to go in if I had not been pregnant because I felt a fraud as well. Everything was fine outside of work but the moment it was suggested or I thought about it I started panicking and getting palpitations. That episode taught me that nothing is as important as your own health and the health and well being of those around you. What with sick leave and maternity leave I was off work for 18 months in total. It was my boss that caused all the problems and I will never walk into the branch I was at ever again, in fact I will not even drive past it, it's my way of coping with it now. But I also know that no one will ever make me feel like my manager did at the time. It is one battle that I may have lost at the time but I am going to win the war in my life
End of profound statement!
Thank you AnW'sMum. It will be my new mantra :A xx0 -

Thanks Ash - maybe that should be the starting point. Max 1 hour a night from the list (in post #1, yes?).
Mind if I chip on here occasionally for moral support and advice?Neigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

Grrrrrrrrrr looks like I might have to get a new DW. Got back from school and error code 10 is flashing which when I look it up on the net is the heater  There's always something isn't there. Might just see if I can reset it and try again, keep your fingers crossed girls.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0

AFternoon all - just having a cuppa whilst DS3 tea cooks and then off to swimming. It was good to be out in the fresh air and the kids had a fantastic time playing.
I have to do those accounts tonight so living room is clear for cleaning/toy sorting tomorrow - please be supportive this evening by giving me a gentle nudge if I am chatting on here. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
